For me Tony Hawk's Underground and True Crime Streets of LA were my childhood on PS2. I wish Sony would give the PS1 and PS2 some support on the PS4. I still have my PS1 and PS2 but not enough plugs or inputs for me to hook them up since I have my PS3, Original Xbox(softmodded of course), Wii U, and now the PS4 hooked up.
PS Now requires a 5mbps connection yet I have a 20mbps down and still had lots of latency.
The PS Now competitor... I wonder what the prices are going to be. I still hate playing streamed games though. I'd rather run them on the hardware itself with the lowest latency possible.
I would say Nintendo is the worlds favorite gaming brand even if Sony is selling the best and Microsoft are selling more too. Also if you think the hype is real for the PS4 your wrong. Sony has so many amazing IPs yet they let them die on the PS1 and PS2. Sorry my inner PlayStation fanboy died over the past year due too me getting the most disappointing console I've ever owned and I have all the PlayStation and Nintendo consoles. Yes I'm a butt hurt Sony and Nintendo fanboy. My Wii U ...
I don't think the brand is the 'World Favorite' but the over hype is what sold it the most. It still lacks a lot in terms of that hype.
I've played free to play games and every single one is pay to win. I think they are all trash except for a few that have the potential to be a AAA game.
A new Legend of Dragoon, Ape Escape, MediEvil and I would be set for the rest of this gen.
Instead of dropping price why don't they invest in RPG games.
Don't worry I've had all the same issues on PS4.
Are the plus games releasing tomorrow? I wonder what happened to delay the announcement this month.
While a remake of those games would be awesome I think I would rather them make a new IP that didn't involve Uncharted or Zombies.
My bro has a Vita and hasn't got a game for it in months because there is nothing that appealing to him. So you want me to add Japanese exclusives that are not that appealing to the majority to the list? I'm talking about games developed by one of Sonys studios.
Japan is great at keeping the Vita alive.
Biggest problem with most Japanese games is the lack of a English version.
I wouldn't say it's the best because the C stick and D-pad suck but since they aren't really used much in Nintendo games it's ok I guess.
They also made MediEvil. :)
You guys need to think out of the box. They are obviously working on their best IP and that's MediEvil!!!
I don't know if it can emulate the original xbox but I don't think it's possible for it to emulate the 360. The PS4 and XO have weak CPUs.
Reasons I think Vita is failing. No Sony IPs coming to the platform. Memory card prices killed the use of the music, video, and store features right out the gate and continues to. The console itself is priced too high for the handheld market. Zero marketing but there is not much to market anyway except old games, indie games, or remote play most people will never use.
But it usually comes with a price us mortals can't afford.
