I wish I could play my PS1 and PS2 collection on PS4. I don't consider PS3 games that old yet.
Going from PS3 to PS4 is not 'remaking' a game. They are just porting the PC versions to PS4. Now PS1 or PS2 games would have to be remade if they want them to have modern graphics.
Unless you have a Core I5 and a nice GPU the PS2 emulator is trash except for a few games. My Core I3 and my AMD GPU emulate most PS2 games bad but some are playable if I keep the rez normal. I can emulate GameCube games but if I try to push the rez to 1080p frame-rate takes a dive in most of the games.

PS Now is not the answer to backwards compatibility for PS2 or PS1 games. I want to own the games and play without the latency or internet for that matter...
PS1/PS2 emulation please but for the love of god Sony don't make PS Now the only option to play these two consoles. Nintendo is somewhat smart with the Virtual Console but the speed of releases is bad and even disappointing since it lacks a lot. I think I have more Virtual Console games than Wii U games. That ratio would probably be the same on PS4 if Sony ever started to release their classics too.
Tell me what triple a games are being made for VR tech and I will tell you if it's worth it.

I think the ship one is pretty cool but seizures are not worth three dollars. It would be cool if they gave us the option to make our own themes and to cause our own seizures.
I love nostalgia and I wish Sony would use it but with the PS4 instead of pulling my nostalgia strings they cut them off. Long live their dead PS1 IPs, specifically The Legend of Dragoon, MediEvil, and Ape Escape.
No because as far as I can tell Nintendo is not using my nostalgia at all on their Wii U games unless we are talking about the Virtual Console. I played BF4 and the frame-rate drops were pretty noticeable on the PS4 version. Playing the beta for Hardline on PS4 I never really noticed any drops except for the rare internet lag I had once. It's definitely running better than BF4 was on PS4. But of course the graphics are not any better and in certain places it looked like there was no anti-aliasing being used but maybe the final version fixed that.

I wasn't planning on buying but I was interested in the free game I was getting for having plus. But you never know I'm sure most of the people who were not that interested to begin with could have been turned into customers for the game if they would have got the free demo. That's kind of the point of demos to begin with and this is still far more than a demo even if there are levels and cars stripped out.
Well I guess you are partially correct since they advertised if you buy plus you get the game and then we find out it's not coming for months and months down the line. False advertisement if anything.
So as long as the game sells consoles the game itself is irrelevant? I love the Uncharted series but I don't see how they can push it past 4 story wise.
