Big oof! This game was mediocre looking to begin with, something you wait for PS+ or it to hit $20 but that's just a hard nope!
F.E.A.R would be a great contender for a ground up remake for next gen. I'd be happy with a FEAR Trilogy remaster collection too.
It's the game that truly kicked off the genre, it's its own game so no connection to Dark Souls or Bloodborne, it's the most difficult of the genre, the magic system is actually good (albeit kind op in the original game).

The Soulsborne genre has become massive that many games have been copying them for a decade. It's nowhere near a niche game. Best part is many Soulsborne fans have never played the granddaddy of the Souls games so this is going to be an awesome time to experterience the best in the series and now even more improved. It's also not a simple Remaster, it's a complete Remake from the ground up and there is a huge difference between the two terms.
Eh, I don't care for it but it's not the big deal that all the people freaking out about it are making it out to be. I'm more excited that the building will have realtime reflections instead of that crappy generic city texture that the original game that. How people aren't point that out is beyond me.
Exactly. You don't go into a profession like this or film, music, art, entertainment as a whole if you aren't willing and prepared for those extended hours. Well it was supposed to be it's big flagship game so I'm sure the box art was finalized long before the reveal demo for infinite. It's pretty obvious the delay really took MS by surprise and it's far too late to change it. Everything from probably June or earlier for the system itself was locked in.
It's actually pretty clear. MS has said repeatedly they don't believe in exclusives anymore. Todd Howard and Pete Hines both said that there is nothing to worry about, nothing is changing in the way the deliver their games, they are still going to self publish their games. So not only are they taking the failures of the WiiU with a stupid naming convention but the failures of the Vita as well with proprietary external drives? Outside of possibly timed exclusivity, absolutely nothing. Todd Howard and Pete Hines both said nothing is changing and that Bethesda is going to continue to self publish games. MS purely did this to boost gamepass without having to keep paying for licenses and renew contracts. I'm sure they will keep smaller titles or newer ones for themselves but the big guns (Fallout, TES, Doom) will be multiplatform like Minecraft.
Is N4G the only site you go on? Any website and masses of Xbots screaming about how Xbox will be more organized. Even MS themselves Tweeted that theirs would be organized and that this stuff wouldn't happened. Anyone who has played games long than one generation new both pre-order launches were going to be a complete mess. Anyone who believed these would be organized and neat with plenty of stock to go around was kidding themselves. Sorry if you don't believe facts.

I've been seeing the reports from around the world. Must stink to be an Xbox fanboy scream all week how sites wouldn't crash and stock wouldn't sell out in minutes. It's is going to be a fun november for all gamers though.
