If you think Valhalla needs add ons to be enjoyed then I highly doubt you actually bought it. It is a complete experience and is ridiculously easy to get through and enjoy and I didn't spend a single penny on the MTs.

It was good at best but there are plenty other Star Wars games that lap it easily. They tried to make Cal a Starkiller 2.0 but he was super weak with the force (example force push only made enemies stumble backwards a little where any other star wars game they would fly back as expected) and had personality of a cardboard cutout. The story was very meh too and yet again we are left with ANOTHER Jedi who is alive during the OT and did absolutely NOTHING to help and completely diminish Luke'...

There wouldn't be any backlash. Would people have been disappointed, sure but nobody would be raging because they need another few months or more. They lied, plain and simple. It was pretty obvious they were hiding something. Very little gameplay shown and when they started getting questions about the game then it was all about Keanu Reeves which also lead to very confusing marketing as it felt at times like he was the main character.
I don't doubt it. It's been two years since the new Dragon Age has been announced and they still have nothing to show for it.Not to mention the clear trouble going on behind the scenes with two major leads leaving at the same time. With Bioware it's just smart to keep expectations extremely low, we all wish they would go back to their golden age but it's extremely unlikely to happen.
Well Pokemon isn't supposed to be difficult. It's really baby's first JRPG. It's fun for older gamers because of Nostalgia and Pokemon meaning something to people who grew up with it or connected to it on a deeper level. So maybe it stopped being fun for YOU creature of game nobody has ever heard of but for millions of gamers, young and old, it's still tons of fun.
Agreed, same they are doing the same with Horizon 2 so sadly it will be held back by PS4.
