The levels are pretty straightforward, especially the beginning areas. If I remember correctly the only place that was dicy in navigation design was the Valley of Defilement but that maybe more because of the lighting (it's very dark). But no difficulty settings, only world tendencies change the difficulty slightly in either direction.
I can't either. I wish they would give a more "hands on" demo where we see some character creation and someone from the team actually playing the game. I'm excited and getting day one but I find it kind of weird all this new information are things they haven't shown. Just flashy demos with no HUD or really anything. Game looks amazing but I would like to see a tiny bit more than what they've given.
It was such an amazing game. Even the short stories hidden around the world were top notch. It's a real shame Mistwalker turned into a mobile game developer. This and The Last Story were so amazing. I heard Blue Dragon was great too but I couldn't get into that one personally. I'd pay good money if Sony or MS commissioned them again to develop a JRPG like this or last story for either console.
Got my headphones, got my controller, got Demon's Souls and Sackboy preordered and ready. Just have to wait Twelve more days for Walmart to get my preorder!
God I miss the HUD. I really don't understand why they aren't showing gameplay with it. It's all still heavily edited. All the new information they talked about yesterday too. It was all given in an interview where the creative director was on a potato camera, they could have shown off all the new features in a trailer. Why in 2020 would you not? It's such a weird decision. I'm still hyped for the game, was my first PS3 game and is still the best Souls game.
I would guess so, seeing as they already have english localization and that's something they do very far down the line. Plus we got gameplay in the reveal as well. I'm still skeptical on the 2021 release window but that's just me being an old cynical adult. Yoshi-p has a great track record and time management record though.
I'm sure they will more and more through the generation, especially if they can get people the ability to actually download PS2/3 games instead of crappy unreliable streaming only. PS Now's only real weakness.
HBO Max can't negotiate it's way out of a paper bag to get on Hulu and Amazon and it launched six months ago. HBO made an awesome streaming service that 70% of the streaming capable devices can't use.
Nah, let's leave the console wars to the children on twitter who rage over which console is better.
Yeah, how insane of a gaming centric news sight to report of news especially news of the new video game systems releasing in a few weeks..../s
THAT would be very nice
So you support a pedophile? Disgusting
Watching the 4K video from the playstation channel on Youtube on my 65" TV, it absolutely will look glorious! Growing silently stubborn waiting. On the plus side, Playstation Direct accessories are being released early which might mean I get to be in awe of my headphones while the wait for PS5 winds down.
I had no interest in this game but them working and supporting a known pedophile, womanizer, and general human slime then I certainly will not download it ever.
Yeah, I think I care more about how the storefront will look vs what we have than the UI itself. Home screen is clean though, it will give so much real estate to themes.
I don't think I've ever had an issue with console packaging, but that is a really nice box.
Nope but that isn't stopping the internet from having a mass fit for absolutely no reason because gamer entitlement has entered a new stage of "everything is anti-customer unless you give me everything I demand".
Let's hope, I maybe in the minority on this but I loved the 360 faceplates on the original models and I had a nice little collection (and still have a few of my favorites). It was a shame they were so underappreciated and the idea thrown tossed away.
Super Mario Party is really fun, Nintendo dropped the ball by not supporting it and adding more maps, characters, mini games whether they be in free updates like Splatoon or $5/$10 packs every once in a while. Super Mario Party finally fixed the failure of the last few by going back to individual characters running around the board and not together in that stupid car crap.

I'd like to see how the HUD is changed, it will look mostly the same but visually different. Plus it would have been awesome to see then switch camera angles or even the filters. You know all the stuff they are TALKING about but not showing? Show don't tell is a very powerful marketing strategy.
