Never got into the Watch Dog games but this one specifically has me skeptical with their massive promise of thousands of playable characters each with their own distinct personality. I'll probably pass but I certainly hopes it sticks the landing.

About the same. So far it's amazing! Better than the first? Right now I don't think so but it's still fantastic. I do think, however, the combat has a lot more weight to it and the Clickers/Runners are actually really tense and the Clickers new screech every few seconds is haunting and makes me so uncomfortable, I love it!
Review bombing isn't a new thing. Sad little bigots trolling the game isn't proof of "paid reviews" which is an extremely unlikely scenario in the games industry, a few cases have been caught and they were also dealt with by the company they worked for in a very timely manner. It looks gorgeous! Also lowkey jealous they don't need masks, for running into a store for ten minutes it's one thing but for 9-10 hour shifts it's unbearable (not to mention hard to hear people through plex glass on top of a mask muffling their voice).
Breakable weapons were fine seeing as you never ran out and they weren't limited in any way. Get rid of the breaking of the Master Sword and Hylian Shield, that was the ridiculous thing to me about BOTW. The Master Sword, evil's bane...but only for 3 hits. Sure the DLC kind of helped but it should not have broken at all.
Looks promising, I can't wait to see gameplay later this week. Loved Rouge Squadron as a kid.
Personally I think the combat is great, tweaks never hurts but my wish is that they make Aloy able to actually take hits. I'm max level with the best armor and Aloy feels so squishy like I'm level 1 trying to fight a Thunderjaw with just a spear. Didn't stop me from enjoying the hell out of the game though.

Not really sure why people all of a sudden are expecting it to be $700-800 (I've seen these number thrown around since thursday), the development cost of the PS5 is only $450 and like you said they generally take a loss.
I don't understand the point of hiding the UI at this point, we are all curious what the menu will look like and more importantly if it will run faster and smoother than the slow PS4 home screen. I hope they overhaul the store as well, probably the worst thing about PSN is the store.

As a Halo fan since the beginning I really hope you've learned from the abysmal 4 & 5 mistakes. This is the last hurrah for Halo. I'm hopeful though! The teaser and last year's trailer looked great, now just to show up you went back to the classic Halo gameplay and got rid of the Call of Duty clone crap you mashed in for no reason.

I'm gonna feel real bad for the people who never played Demon's Souls but are talking up how amazing they are at Dark Souls 1-3. They haven't even felt difficulty, are Souls WAS easy mode compared to Demon's Souls!
After months they certainly made it all up with the follow through. The only thing missing was announcing the price and announcing that reservations were available 'now' so I can lock this down, pay it off, and be done with that stress.
