What? It's pretty widely agreed VI is the best. VII varies from fan to fan.
Any shred of credibility I had with IGN just went out the window between this and them pushing the prank Mandalorian video as an Official Trailer. There is no coming back from this shameless classes clickbait. Whoever was in charge of their youtube comments was attacking people in the comments as well. No good.
Then you have clearly never played a real Bioware RPG then, just the EA trash they push out now.
Dragon Age 2 is on the list AND above Origins? Mass Effect 3 and Inquisition on the list? KOTOR not being #1?
Author must have developed heavy alcoholism during quarantine this is a awful list. Dragon Age 2 just doesn't exist and Inquesition was a trainwreck. This guy might as well say Andromeda is the best this Bioware has ever created.
Nope! If I'm going to pay for Gamepass to play a month of free games I'm going to play the good games with actual content and not crappy hollow GAAS games. Like everyone else I played, laughed at how bad it was, then moved on to good games.
There was no story and no real rewarding gameplay. It's fetch quest the game.
It will bring more screaming kids and casuals blaring mumble rap and screaming at their mom/SO to leave them alone except through a tin can.
I feel so much better about this. I liked the design and especially the two color combo but it looked really bulky and uncomfortable, like a cheap 3rd party controller or the Switch Pro Controller. This comparison definitely made that worry go away. Can't wait, really hope the box has the game white/black sleek design.
The events definitely need work. Bunny Day didn't need to be more than a 3 day weekend event. However, as creepy as Zipper is...Isabelle will always be my most hated character.
@BigTuna9
They have done mythical creatures before. The Chimera was genetically manipulated Fly and Human. The Hunter was half human/half reptile. It's completely within the realm of possibility they created a hybrid Human/Wolf like creature.
There has been giant spiders, fish, zombies, various monster bugs, mutated homicidal plants, a crocodile but werewolfs is somehow ridiculous? Someone has clearly never played these games before.
I'm sure it will follow the same thing as RE7. Fully playable in VR but it's an option.
I can already feel the pure panic and terrible as you walk down a hallway and you hear a howl but have no idea where it's coming from. I can't wait!
Well at least Fable Anniversary being a permanent free game is worth the $10 for the month :)
Uh no, quite the opposite.
Fable is the only one on the list that needs it. Sunset Overdrive ip is owned by Insomniac which is now owned by Sony so if there is a sequel then it'll be on PS5. Sea of Thieves is just not good.
For all the very well deserve praise Automata got, Nier on 360/PS3 was even better but grossly underrated.
One map per console has been a thing since it started. One Memory card One town but 4 characters can be made. Even in New Leaf: one cart of the game, one town, one mayor, 3 additional characters in a town. This complaint is coming from people who clearly haven't played Animal Crossing before.
This isn't comparable to E3. This isn't for the casual audience, this is for the insiders and really nerdy tech people who live for presentations like this. It was never ever going to be flashy. It was not made for you and your unrealistic expectations for anytime Sony opens their mouth. When the full grand reveal comes then you will get your flashy show and fireworks. This presentation for GDC was mean for exactly that audience.
Played the glorified demo, it was okay but Predator was grossly overpowered. The shooting felt very mid-last generation but it's a mid-teir AA game so it was fine as it was. Definitely not a bad game but it's not going to really have much pull outside of the niche audience that like these types of multiplayer games.
