FYI.... Sears is closing a bunch of stores..... this can lead to some really good deals at times.

I guess a "what's the catch" would be if you want to return the item... you may not have a store anywhere near you after the closing.

I'm not worried that this game will be an Assassin Creed Clone just worried that the side missions will be pointless or won't make sense. I hope the writer of the new story was just spouting off an idea.... because hacking into a person's phone to steal their specific car is stupid. One in a Million chance somebody is stupid enough to put that kind of info on their phone. I don't know or heard of anyone who puts their plate number of their car in their phone.

Microsoft never said Directx 12 is only for nvidia.... They did say that it will be compatible with all Directx 11 cards and its up the companies that make GPUs to support it - so AMD should benefit from it as well. AMD did announce last month that all GCN graphic cards will support support Directx 12....

I agree it's an underrated game. Was going to buy it but it showed up on PS Plus for free. Got to love PS Plus. The game's art direction is very good and looks and runs very well even on the console so should look even better/run better on PCs. I like how the game blends different genres around the fighting scroller that it is. I think that is what threw off a lot of reviewers who probably were handed the game to review with expectations of what they thought the game was going to be ...

I really hope the reputation system goes away. All I've seen is abuse on Tech websites as well as gaming websites. Over the years nobody has really improved on it. It needs to die.

I was fine with the voice acting. She was supposed to be naive maybe even immature with the situation she was placed in, so I can see the her sounding/reacting a bit younger when faced with a scenario she never imagined would/could exist in her life. I thought the game did a good job with her progression of maturity in the game. It did seem like she was toughening up toward the end..... and they didn't overdo the progression (i.e. Going from a spoiled naive somewhat immature girl to a s...

Come on people.... this is not news worthy. People were buying, but not using, media entertainment for a long time; happens constantly with books - even music and movies for some. I'm guilty with not reading every book I bought. I believe I still have a few CDs and Cassettes lying around that I never got around to listening too.

Not enough time in the day, week, month.... you lose interest or something better/newer catches your eye and you buy that instead.

Uh.... no $600??? maybe if you built-it-yourself and only want to play the games of yesterday really well.... That system will however cry at any modern games of tomorrow. I wouldn't get single gpu card less than gtx 770 or R9 280x which are averaging around the $350 mark (Dont get a 2GB GDDR5 card 3GB min or even 4GB GDDR5 better). That means $250 for the rest of the PC which not going to happen. Budget around $400 to $500 for the rest of the PC which will put you in the $800 range (If y...

Remember, Consoles drop in price periodically over its lifespan as well. I generally wait at least a year before jumping ship from last gen to current gen gaming waiting for all the dust to settle so there is a clearer picture of value/performance. I waited 2 years before buying a PS3 and Xbox360 and could easily wait again. My PC has held its own over the years and still manages to play most games at 1080p between 30-60 fps from med to high settings depending on the game (I'm running tw...

Lol.... I was just shopping for a toaster over the holiday sales weekend and I can confidently say there is no toaster that looks remotely like a PS4. I really don't think the PS4 is ugly, but I do think it doesn't really standout. I believe that was on purpose by Sony. Its supposed to just blend in with just enough creative juice to still separate itself from other entertainment equipment when focus is place on it. Good Job Sony!

Its all right. Nothing we haven't already seen graphically. There was noticeable compromises to achieve the graphic quality of the surroundings. The wind was blowing wildly around the characters but everything about their clothing and hair did not match the intensity of their surroundings..... so it gave the appearance the characters were in a bubble. Facial features seemed off and I've seen better eyes in other games... this game still giving that uncanny valley look made worse becau...

Yes the Vita does work pretty well as a controller replacement ...... Matter of fact its good enough that if Sony did a fantastic job intergrating into the PS4's design they could drop the main PS4 controller and call it the remote play bundle..... That could make a significant cost savings that could go a long way in helping to reach the $500 point.

..........Even if Sony didn't drop the PS4 controller they at least breaking even or selling the PS4 at a slight loss a...

I agree..... n4g posted this article by Gamasutra

http://www.gamasutra.com/vi...

It was Mark Cerny talking PS4 hardware. He mentions part way through the article that basic functions (like audio/video) have their own dedicated hardware unit.... (didnt say processor) so resources of the cpu/gpu dont have to be allocated. Since Sony didn't go int...

There is a reason for his request... Your right heavy PC games top out between 2-3Gb.... however developers also want fast load times.... since PC makers have been stingy going to Blu-ray format and developers always want more space but also want speed he wants the extra Memory for streaming the game to memory with some left-over. Example:

A blu-ray disc has the capacity of 50GB..... A developer can stream 25GB of game to memory and still have roughly 6 GB of memory for pro...

I mentioned this before in a thread.... Tomshardware did a hardware build building a gaming rig for $500. They used a Pentium G850 dual core processor with 8GB of memory and a AMD Radeon 7850 with 1GB of Vram.
This only included the computer and internal equipment....no keyboard or mouse and software was not included so no Windows 8 cost. That means when all is said and done its really a $700-$800 dollar computer when you factor in windows, keyboard & mouse, cables. They didn&#...

Tomshardware just finished another round of system builders....... It was only judging hardware costs not software and capped the Hardware cost at $500. Was able to build a gaming rig for that price.... Used a AMD 7850 with 1GB of Vram with a dual core Sandy bridge Pentium and 8GBs of Ram...... In BF3, was able to achieve over 100 fps on BF3 at 720p at medium settings. At Ultra-settings was still able to play over 45 fps at 1080p......Rarely dipping into the low 20-30fps (which is common ...
