I played the alpha and beta mainly solo, getting in a group for a side mission or two. Went in Dark Zone by myself and got rekt by groups a couple of times, but other times just saw single players.
The main game I think is fine for a single player experience, but if end game is in Dark Zone it may be troubling.
Don't remember him mentioning yearly. Could be, but not sure if i'd like it. They may just have you upgrade instead of having a full priced console at the end of the generation, they may just have you upgrade the box. Or maybe something like a $1-200 component every couple of years.

Don't know how true this is, but I would've thought they'd go WW2. Trench warfare and the weapons could slow the gameplay down. But then again they'd be taking the fps genre to a different place again.

I don't really pay attention to the user, but in no way did his comment indicate hes fine with them because it's Halo 5, but because of what I said above, the players benefits.

Had loads of fun trying out games back then and got me to discover some great games like Avatar Ninja and the impossible game.
It's a bit of both. They really need to work on their messages more before announcing so it won't get confused. It doesn't help that people are ready to jump at anything slightly negative on the internet, but you know they gotta get the message down beforehand.
