I meant porn-wise lol.
Overwatch has some very attractive characters & personalities so I'm not surprised.
What surprises me is that it's getting so much attention and its still in beta. Pretty crazy.
Neat. Think I remember having fun with the demo a couple years ago.
Bought. Ooo and it's on sale :o
Yeah it wouldve been a good one. There's no reason stated in the article tho. I wonder what happened.
I didn't disagree with you, but what you said is basically what Rod is saying. The industry has twisted the meaning of a "beta" into essentislly what Rod says in the article: "pre-release demos".
Rod and the Coalition have said many times before that this isn't the case with Gears 4 and it's beta is a true one, almost so much that he says they're focused on calling it a pre alpha right now.
It's a console. Usually it's one or the other.
Like Ermac said below he'll be rocking both on his pc.
It's an open world game. On console. At 60 fps.
That's pretty damn awesome. Has there been any other big AAA open world game that has went with 60?
I mean, it's is pretty sweet. I read the title and saw "720" and was like "well damn... :|" then saw 60fps and was like "well hot damn! :D"
Like, am I crazy? People are all upset about the res, and I'm just happy it's running at 60.
There's always gonna be sacrifices for 60 fps
@Kionic
Again, regardless of personal feelings. It's an alpha build.
@Kionic
It's just a bit embarrassing to read. Not saying that to be mean, I honestly feel second hand embarrassment reading that in your comments.
This is how you get people excited. You let them play the earliest version of your game so they play the game and provide feedback in the beginning and help shape the game. Then the devs can incorporate the feedback into the game during the months until release.
Stop being so petty.
"This game is a technical beta regardless of your personal feelings."
Jesus. It's literally an alpha build. Regardless of your personal feelings.
You know it's a shame. They've stated the beta is an early build (alpha early). The focus is to test netcode and gameplay. It's to get input from players with a feedback program. They've stated they will be improving visuals down the road.
But it's constantly "graphics are disappointing", "looks last gen" over and over again.
If they would've waited a month or so before it launches to do a beta with the visual/animation im...
Can you stop with that "shame on you" crap already?
I cringe a bit everytime I read that lol.
@Genuine
That's fine, but you should acknowledge that
it's something they've specifically addressed. Even more so, since someone told you the same thing in another article.
To answer your other question I'm not sure, but most betas happen a couple weeks before launch nowadays.
Also you come off as someone who's oblivious to all the information they've been giving about the beta.
They've said they'll add/ change more animations later during development.
Jesus man. You just stay steady hating.
There's no "wrong" way to play the game, but the worst thing you can do is play it like a cover shooter.
Playing it that way is literally the complete opposite of the intent of the game design and mechanics.
It's Joes opinion, but if one plays this game that way then they are missing out on a whole other experience gameplay-wise.
Wait what lol didn't see that.
Lol @ beard.
And yeah he needs a slap.
Also the game already has a good AA solution. I haven't seen any aliasing.
1080 60 with no jaggies is already a great sign.
Edit: Also what JoJo said. They will be improving visuals and animations later.
Their focus right now is with net code and getting feedback for gameplay. Game is already looking clean and smooth.
True lol.
