Definitely looks good. No one has ever criticized the graphics. I'm glad to see the developers agree with what MSFT have been saying all year. Great graphics dont HAVE to be 1080p (the Order only displays 800 lines of graphics).
But the biggest reason the graphics look so good is that the game is all QTEs and cut scenes. Not only is it not open world, it's on rails and you are guided from scene to scene by NPCs. Myst looked incredible too.

It's says a lot about Sony's lack of AAA exclusives that Infamous won best PS4 game. It barely cracks 80 on metacritic. That's a B- or C+. Hope 2015 is a lot better.
PS4 sales in the US were 25% LOWER in November 2014 vs November 2013. XONE sales were 25% HIGHER.
If MSFT is dumb enough to raise prices I predict sales will crater, but it won't help PS4.
Infamous? Hahahahahahahahahahaha. It's the 71st highest rated PS4 game. It barely broke 80%. That's a B- or C+. Mordor, SSOD, FH2, TF. Even Destiny is better. I'm excluding remakes otherwise TLOU and GTA need to be on there.

Microtransactions and mainstreamification are both ways that developers pay for the hundred million $+ cost of developing a AAA title these days. Take them away and quality will go way down (particularly GFX) and/or prices will go WAY UP. Just look at Indie games to see what happens to GFX quality when you have to get by on...
MSFT hosts the servers. Someone has to pay for that. The Gold and PS+ revenues are critical to their respective divisions. With out Gold MSFT's game division would be break even and Sony's PS4 division would be loosing $$.
On PC the servers are all P2P or funded by a subscription model or in game purchases. The consoles don't have the power to host games flawlessly and unless Capcom has its way - the pay to win model is less advanced.

Havent heard many complaints about FH2, SSOD, DA3, Mordor, TLOU Remaster, SS, Bayonetta, SSBM or Mario Cart.
Best remaster should go to the game that changed the original the most. That is Halo 2 by a MILE. TLOU and GTA 5 might be better games, but they aren't that different then what was released a year ago.
DX 12 will not be a massive improvement. Go look at Mantle. Even on an extremely CPU bound AMD processor it might result in 10%-20% improvement. So that takes you from 900p to 980p? You can't tell the difference between Xone 900p and PS4 1080p due to the Xones amazing upscaler. So you won't see much improvement. Maybe 5 fps?

Why would GDDR5 be a bottleneck? The bottle neck is that AMD tablet CPU. The one in the Xone is isn't that great either, but at least it's going to get a moderate bump from DX12. Combined with the overclock and Azure, that will give MSFT a hefty CPU advantage. Crackdown and Halo 5 will both demonstrate this.
