It's all going to come down to plot and characters. If they are amazing like GOW or UC, then linear game play and QTEs will be forgotten about. If not, the game will get crucified by reviewers for poor gameplay. I suppose it's possible the developers have been hiding the real game from us and it Gears of War with werewolves, but odds are this will score in the high 60s and low 70s.

Yeah I really regret buying this. Almost as much as NBA 2015. It is so freaking boring. It does a terrible job of launching you into the game and giving you a sense of purpose. You start out at a space station where there might not even be any missions that you can do. So you have to just wander around. And OMG did they make docking annoying!!!!

If they are smart they won't release in 2015. The VR experience really isn't up to snuff. I doubt these consoles have enough power to do it. My estimate is that you need closer to 8 TFlops to create something that looks as good as 2D. PS4 can't push 1080p @ 60 fps. VR needs to push a minimum of 1080p to EACH eye at 75 fps. That's 5 TFlops right there. You'd really like to push 1440p cause 1080p still has pretty obvious screen dooring.

It's good to see a great Dec like ND say we finished our story and want to move on. Hopefully it works out better for them then it did for Halo and Bungie. If 343 screws up H5, MSSFT should retire the series. Halo 4 was a step down in terms of both sales and critical acclaim and HMCC was even worse. Pros - Amazing graphics thanks to PAY power, 800p resolution, and on rails gameplay. Very interesting setting. Could have an interesting plot.
Cons - QTEs and cutscenes are more then half of the game. NPCs lead you by the nose from event to event. On rails shooter during the 10% of the time there is action. Overhyped to hell by N4G.
I bought this game a few days ago and HAVE it! Why the F do you need to make traveling and docking soo fing hard. I am trying to have fun not play a realistic space flight sim!!!!! Jesus, game could have been great but now I think it is barely better then that carebear POS No Man's Sky!!!
