"The PS3 outsold the Xbox 360 globally every single year since it came out"
I don't know why this pitiful lie keeps popping up, even from people who seem somewhat informed about gaming. The PS3 did NOT outsell the 360 every year - there were several head to head years in which the 360 outsold PS3 globally.
"The people that wanted an Xbox One for Halo would have bought one as soon as the MC Collection was announced....
"Since when is coming in a distant 2nd in the US is a comeback?"
Well, the PS3 came in a distant third after PS2 absolutely dominated, and it's still considered a success. Not to mention, the PS3 had serious issues with multi-platform games early in it's life too.
I know you must have just started gaming this generation because you seem to know absolutely nothing about gaming history, but console races are marathons, not sprints.

The "parity clause" is nothing more than a game forum urban legend, brought up when someone wants to attack MS, but they have no proof.
Last generation, MS had a clause in which developers had to insure that the 360 had the same FEATURES as other platforms when it came to third party games. Extreme Sony fanboys took it one step further, inventing the term "graphical parity", which doesn't exist. That way, when multiplatform games looked and played th...
Sony fans used to complain about MS's exclusive DLC (especially regarding GTAIV), calling it an evil business practice and condemning MS for doing it. As it turns out, that was nothing but fake outrage, and people weren't really upset at the practice, but simply because their favorite company was on the short end. Many of these same people are bragging now that Sony's doing it.
On the other hand, Xbox fans have had their share of exclusive DLC, and still have som...
Much like when PS fans used to ridicule MS for buying exclusive DLC. Now that Sony does it it's perfectly OK.
We only need to remember last generation to realize how dumb it is to declare a winner so early.
It took PS3 seven years to catch Xbox 360, and neither caught the Wii. Suddenly, people want to declare PS4 the winner after just eight months.
Last generation, all we heard was:
"everything will change when MGS4 comes out".
Then it was:
"everything will change when the slim comes out"

NextLevel is part of a pretty large group of trolls around here.
Notice how he uses spin and misdirection to try to make his points. It's a FACT that there are many 1080p games on Xbox One, but he dismisses many of them by using the term "cross-gen". That way, he can bury his head in the sand and pretend those games don't exist.
It's as if a game doesn't count because of what OTHER consoles it's also on. Sorry, but 1080p is 10...
If I drove a top performance car, I probably wouldn't drive it in the rain or snow either, but many here think it's a sin to exclude bad weather racing from certain games.
@NextLevel
That link is nothing but spin and misdirection.
Why are all of the 360's indie and arcade games missing? It's clearly an attempt by a Sony supporter to make the PS3 look better than 360 by simply ignoring one of the 360's strongest aspects.
It's funny how from 2010-2013 Sony fans ignored indie and arcade games, and ridiculed Xbox fans when they made lists that included downloadable games. It's clearly because ...
"Cross-gen" is the new buzzword for fanboys to try to ignore a high profile game that won't be on their favorite system.
Regardless how you try to spin it, Forza Horizon 2 WILL be available for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and it will NOT be available for PS3 or PS4. It will move systems because it's not on competing consoles. Pretending it doesn't exist by inventing new terminology isn't going to change the FACT that it's an Xbox exclusive.

@Mega24
I've lost all respect for fanboys who judge games by everything EXCEPT what they should be judged on.
Instead of looking at graphics, sound, gameplay or story, you focus on who's name is on the least to the studio that created it. Shouldn't the main focus be on how FUN the game is, regardless of the contracts involved?
If MS pays a studio to create a game, that somehow bad. Yet if Sony pays money to buy a studio, you'...
Kind of like when Sony removed a major feature of the PS3 (backwards compatibility) and chopped $200 off the price after less than a year. I guess that was a sign of failure too.
EDIT - Here's an article from September 2007, 10 months after launch:

I know you have to bash the console that...
"im thinking 1.5:1 for PS4 atleast."
Are you referring to April NPD? How will that, in any way, be related to this article, which is about May sales?
After the past seven years of denouncing it, it's absolutely hilarious to see Sony fans not just looking forward to NPD, but actually referring to it as "the real stuff". 180 indeed.
What happened to the years of hearing "NPD can't be trusted because they don't track Amazon or Walmart"?
@Orange
More lies (like I expect anything else from you). Having to resort to the grossly inaccurate "MS abandoned 360" line again just shows your ignorance.
Let's take a close look at some of the games that were released during the period in which you claim MS "abandoned" the 360:
Titanfall - say what you want about it not being exclusive, but it's not on Playstation, and it's rated 85. Releasing it on 360 i...
I said this yesterday. Kinect Sports Rivals was supposed to be the killer app for the new Kinect. While it's not a bad game by any means, it's certainly not worth buying an X1 for.
I think MS was waiting to see how KSR performed before making a decision on Kinect's future. After all, there's no more potential killer apps in the pipeline, so MS had no choice but to unbundle Kinect.
Unfortunately, around here people just want to use the simpl...
The 360 is in it's ninth year on the market. How many other consoles had significant exclusives released in their ninth year? How many PS2 exclusives were released in it's ninth year? Next year we'll find out how many PS3 exclusives Sony releases in PS3's ninth year.
This late in a console life cycle is always about third party support. As long as MS keeps making 360's, there will be plenty of games to play. That's how a console is supported, and ...
@orange
That's some of the most ridiculous fanboy drivel that's been spouted around here in a long time.
First of all, if any significant number of people bought multiple 360's, the software attach ratio would have dropped like a rock. After all, people wouldn't replace their games when they replaced their console. In reality, 360 had the highest attach rate, therefore proving your theory 100% wrong.
Like many others here, ...
So, when Sony makes mistakes (as you admit they've done) and reverses course to fix them, it's done to please gamers, but when MS does the same thing it's nothing more than a sales gimmick. Typical hypocrisy.
You're a classic apologist. You defend everything Sony does while blasting MS for doing the same. It's not hard to see why you're called a fanboy when you flip flop like you do.
You'll just look at anything MS does as "...
@Dragon
"Because it's the truth. The 360 never outsold the PS3 globally except for one year, 2011, and by a small margin. You're obviously thinking of the U.S. of course."
Well, which is it? Did PS3 outsell 360 EVERY year (like you said earlier), or did 360 outsell PS3 in 2011 (which would mean that saying EVERY year is a lie)? Of course, you qualify your remark by adding "small margin". Talk about being a politician. You can&...
