I can kind of see the authors point (something rare for me) Evil within was ok but it seemed to me to be more action than horror, plus most horror games getting released these days rely on jump scares and that just seems like cheap horror to me.
Give me something psychological any day. Personally I thought Outlast did this pretty well, I hear the most recent alien game does this pretty well also.
This is just my personal opinion but I'll always have a massive boner for t...
Bruv, NO ONE tells Japan what to do.
I can think of a few ways.
1. Shut down kotaku, polygon and their ilk
2. Quit with the victim mentality, someone gives you shit, you give them shit right back. If they were being a dick for no reason they'll get it from other players as well.
3. Someone sends you a private message being an arsehole, ignore it and block them. Or if you're feeling particularly snippy see: 2, then block them.
If a douchebag knows he will get a rise out of you...
Nintendo never learns a thing mate, they always do things their own way for better or worse. It worked for them with the Wii and they always make a killing in the handheld market, since Sony and MS came on the scene though, their home consoles have suffered somewhat (again not counting the Wii) due to their refusal to adapt and it looks as though NX may continue this trend.
I'd be more concerned about the inevitability of freemium style micro transactions.
I can see it now:
"Cannot send pokemon to PC, you have run out of storage space."
"Would you like to buy more for $4.99?"
Ugh, I've just made myself angry.
What's your point? I'm in my early thirties and still play pokemon. Also digimon.
You'll probably find that the likes of pokemon/mario etc. Have a much older fanbase than the likes of, say, call of duty does.
Teenagers are less likely to play pokemon because they think it makes them appear childish, which is why they tend to gravitate toward games that are made for an older audience. Adults, however tend not to care about these things.
You're joking, Steins;Gate is 200 dollarydoos?
Well I was going to keep hold of it anyway but, damn.
Does it also refuse to start unless you make it a brew?

Manic Miner on the old rubber keyed Sinclair Spectrum.
Good times.
Haha, yeah I saw that. It was absolute gold.
I assume you're talking about the Jimiken character?
Apparently he also talks like that in the Japan release, he's meant to be an annoying prick.
Are these morons still at it?
Do us all a favour Japan, tell them to piss off and do something more useful with their time. Seriously you'd think the UN would have better things to do.
@ruefrak
You are right, obviously, the desktop could definitely be tidier and folders are something I'm seeing people ask Sony for quite a lot. Social features are something that they should be looking at as an afterthought, though there are some things that the PS4 lacks that should really have been a part of the system software at launch, it seems to me that the OS was rushed a little bit before release and certain things were left out that really shouldn't have been, blu-r...
I was thinking this, though whoever handled the Vita version ballsed up big style. The PSP version was far better in my opinion.
I don't think communities are useless, though they could be vastly improved upon.
The ability to search for specific communities and ability to reply to posts would be a good start.
As for verified accounts.... meh, I can take it or leave it, I suppose the idea is that eventually we'll be able to get news on upcoming games "straight from the horses mouth" as it were. Though I suppose it's interesting to some to see what kind of games that the people wh...
It's a good idea, in theory. Of course in practice they'd be splitting the userbase which is an the issue Sega had with the 32x and the other Mega Drive (Genesis to you Americans) add ons.
There's just no way to guarantee that everyone will have the same hardware unless they plan on abandoning the OG x1 and only produce games for the expanded hardware.
I suppose there are probably some ways to get around it, but it seems like an awful lot of effort, probably expe...
Remote playing Uncharted off his PS4.
Vita games can be streamed via PS4?
PS4 games can be streamed to Vita through remote play but I've never heard it the other way round.
Ok that made me chuckle
