Not really. I can kind of see where Crytek is coming from, but I feel that people should be shown a game running natively on the hardware it's being designed to run on from the beginning. It just feels like a big old con otherwise. That might not be the intention, but that's what it feels like to me.

To be honest I can see CoD/Battlefield (especially Battlefield) going back to the WW2 setting for a couple of games and as much as I'd grown tired of the setting by the time Modern Warfare rolled around I'd have to say going back to WW2 would be pretty enjoyable.
Looking forward to seeing how Battlefirld 1 (or whatever they're calling it) turns out though. I enjoyed BF4, but I think the modern setting is starting to become a little bit tedious now.

I bought this around christmas time on PS4 and I've still yet to start it. Trying to get through this backlog is starting to become quite the task.
I think I have around 6 games on the go at the minute.

Yes and there are some games only designed to work for new 3DS.
If people are expecting the same not to happen here then the gaming community are more naive than I thought.
I should also point out that Chinatown Wars on PSP ran poorly on original model PSPs, horrible texture pop in and models not loading correctly, because the original systems had less RAM and I think a lower speed processor than the newer models. I imagine there were other games that suffered as well

Out of curiosity why did washington post give Uncharted 4 a 4 out of 10?
I can't imagine the game being that bad that it warranted such a low score.
Is it the usual sjw fare or are we just talking good old fashioned click bait?

We have a gaming channel in the UK, Ginx I think it's called. We had another one a few years ago but they shut down.

Lois Lane may have won a pulitzer but I wouldn't start getting my hopes up if I were you craveonline

It'll show up separately on the PSN/XBL storefronts at some point. They did the same thing with CoD 1 if I remember correctly, though I cant remember which game that came packaged with. Might have been Black Ops or MW3.

Certainly seems that way, though with all of the articles I've seen about the bugs in the game popping up I can't say I'm surprised.

I'm curious venturebeat. Do you often get your "news" topics from 8chan?

Continued rise of streaming? Where, for movies? Yeah, because the film industry has always been the perfect indicator for what console manufacturers should do.
Pretty much every gaming device that relies solely on streaming for users to access its library has failed miserably and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Did they have manjaw in MK9? I thought that was more MKX/L

Not at all, personally though I do think it helps. As humans we have a kind of instinctual fear of the unknown, when watching horror films or playing horror games, all sense of fear is lost when you find out that it's just some guy being a bit of bell end for giggles.
Like I say though, that's just for me, I don't find humans particularly scary (irritating maybe) I see humans every day, when I play horror games I want to see some faceless monstrosity pulled from the very ...

Just had a look on the PS webstore and it doesn't look as though any of the DLC is free (aside from Legacy Ops and Night Ops, but they were free anyway).
Looks as though I'll have to re install the game on my PS4 and take a butchers on there instead.

Polygon misses the blindingly obvious point on practically everything.
I'm beginning to think it's just willful ignorance at this point.

Interesting fact: I have access to buzzfeed blocked, not just on my PC, but also through my home router. Same for kotaku, polygon, rps and a number of other sites. So, should I ever accidentally click a link to one of these dumping grounds for festering progressive, click bait shit on anything I have connected to my home network they will be conveniently blocked.

PS4, PS3, PS2, OG Xbox, Dreamcast, PS1, N64, Snes, Mega Drive, Nes, Master System, Sinclair Spectrum, Commodore 64.
Shall I continue?
Best console is subjective, but calling a system that had an approximate 50% failure rate at one point and finished last is just insane.
