I see a lot of people that are very salty. I'm sorry for you. Just be happy for us. Kind of like, how Xbox gamers aren't upset that MS isn't preventing others from playing exclusives and instead we appreciate the flexibility of having more access.
Exclusivity isn't what I want, I want more games in general. MS is delivering that.
I think that is the tears of a subset of fanatic gamers. Their cry will be heard all over the world tomorrow morning. The last bastion is games, and that is going to be covered by Phil Spencer this E3.

It is next generation console beyond anything available on console now, but will play every existing Xbox One games including BC Xbox 360 games. Does that make it clearer?

Crackdown 3 will be like no other game before it, because it's not possible with any other single computer period. Very excited about this title, but we won't see it until E3. Expect hardware and technical analysis. Hyped for the monster!

Most likely only Forza will be talked about as game reveals, will be held back for E3. This is probably mostly specs, internal details and benches (if that).
No Man's Sky was a flop and I don't think any platform needs it.
It's amazing to me that there is so much confusion around this. The games as a basis is supposed to work on Xbox One and PS4 period. That means it doesn't matter how much more powerful your PS4 Pro, Scorpio or PC is, it starts at XB1/PS4.
In fact, if the game targets PC, it will include the lowest specced PC as well into the mix.

My guess is some of the people that championed 50% extra GPU and resolution matters, is the very same people salty today. Everyone else just games, and is excited for true 4K gaming. If not, the very least it is competition and every gamer should rejoice in that. It's not like MS getting a true 4K is going to ruin Playstation gaming, unless you let it.
