Yeah but they dont need kojima's time and talent to make it. The gameplay, cinematography, goofy story, cheesy dialog, etc had NOTHING to do with kojima. It was all Platinum Games. It just didnt gave that metal gear magic. It was good, but it felt like a platinum game entirely. They just suck at story telling. Plus Rising felt like it could jave been a whole new IP entirely unrelated to the world of mgs. They could have named it Bayonetta 2 and no one would be the wiser. Which os a shame ...
Kojima's got bigger fish to fry. He would just pass it off to platinum again. Rising is just not as important as the main mgs cannon, silent hill or mgo (or anything else kojima's talent is better spent working on).
I hope its metal gear online 3!
If I could spare that kind of money, i'd pay it just to have Metal Gear Online back. Loved that game, almost obsessively.
The kinect will only entice casuals. And im sure the ps4 eye can do many of the things it can do, like motion tracking. Gimmicks such as kinects ability to read heart beats is not enough of an advantage for anyone to care.
@Poprocks:
Preach it man. I'm also supporting Wii U too now. To hell with CableBoxOne. And u already know i'm getting a ps4 too, no question.
Wii u could totally beat xbox one if it used cloud and had a bigger harddrive. The hdd is a must have for dlc. Also xbone isnt gonna be much more powerful than a wii u.
I endorse Wii U with ps4. The last defenders of hardcore.
Yeah the art style reminds me of SMT: Nocturne and the other older school Shin Megami JRPG games.
There was absolutely NO miscommunication. They knew exactly what they were presenting. Even post-event interviews up until now shows that they meant everything they showed and said. And sadly, they were actually proud of it.
The ridiculously sad news that keeps coming out about this "console" and it's weak reveal just keeps growing with each passing hour. SMH -_-.
MS really screwed it up at that reveal.
Funny u should mention that, because yesterday Bill Gates tried to vouch for the XbOne, as if his opinion was well respected in the gaming world (yeah he's a genius, but NOT a gamer). I have more respect for Fallon, who IS a gamer. I wouldn't be surprised if Fallon had a secret n4g account...
^ Lololol.
For real.
Yeah it was creepy how he said it's always waiting for u to make a command into it. Just freaky.
^ This. Now let's all stop making up excuses. it is a confirmed always-on console, that has to go out of it's way just to allow us to "enjoy" a few brief moments offline, until we need to do another mandatory online certification check just to keep playing. Sounds like gaming-prison.
That's not what he said in the video, though. He makes it seem as if offline play will be a rare thing. As if it will be a mode called "offline", they way that we have to have a specialized "multiplayer" mode now. He makes it seem as if it would have to be implemented somehow just so that one can play without needing the internet to check up on you every once in a while.
EDIT: @cl1983: I don't know what else to tell u bro. The guy in the video con...
Okay confirmed. It's a DRM/Always Online console. Watch from 4:19 and watch.
He says only "some" game modes "might" be able to be played offline. It is heavily dependent on online. Don't get mad at me, watch the video.
Sorry, already sold my 360 due to a lack of exclusives. Saw no reason to keep paying Xbox Live fee's if all my money keeps going to MS making only kinect games.
@cgoodno and akbennyewu:
You guys are right. That's why I think that Sony needs to not only advertise the reasons why people should buy a PS4, but also show people why getting an Xbox One is a scam (if u wan't gaming, as opposed to a second-rate cable box).
Is this only in europe?
