Why was it censored in JP?
I hope your right. I really miss mgo.
Didn't they already confirm that they're recycling more older assets for this supposed "new" (edit: "Modified") version of that old tired Quake engine?
I don't trust you Activi$ion.
Extreme sexiness!!
Is that viewtiful joe in the bottom center of the image?
They should show it to Sony. Sony will do the right thing. to hell with all this overabundance of red tape. Let the people play this game!
My GF loves this series, at least now she'll have time to play it this summer vacation. Hell, i might as well give a go too.
The issue has already been settled.

What makes you so "sure"? I hate false assurances...
Preach!!
I'll PM you.
OT: Yeah, your right about GG and Atari.
I don't know what your talking about. My original comment is not about the DESIRE to have backwards compatibility. It is about the fact that people feel less bad about letting go of their favorite consoles if they know that the next one will at least let them play the older games. If the new system doesn't let them play their old games, then there is LESS intensive to sell the old system, since you won't be able to play the games you've collected for that older system.

PLEASE let it be MGS 5 for next-gen, AND a Metal Gear Online 3 reveal! I've been so bored ever since they shut down MGO 2. No other online game satisfies like it did (and yes I own Battlefield 3 and Blops 2--good games, but MGO was in a whole other league!)
$2.5 billion dollars? I don't think so. Without backwards compatibility in the next gen consoles, I doubt people are gonna trade their current gen consoles. Especially your PS3 with The Last of Us, MGS 5, Gran Turismo 6, Beyond Two Souls, the countless free games we got from PS Plus that won't work on the PS4, and too many other great games to count.
I can only really see Xbox owners selling theirs. In fact, I sold mine 2 weeks ago.
Isn't that already the case? Didn't Microsoft technically KEEP the xbox name, despite the fact that they don't really seem to be focused on games anymore?
To me, the already did exit the games business. Except they also kept the Xbox name because they know that selling it would be stupid. But it'll only be a matter of time until they run the Xbox name into the ground if they continue to ignore ACTUAL GAMING.
Let's hope that the "15 e...
Congrats man, u had a good blog. And I also wanna give a congrats to "dedicatedtogamers"- -that dude makes some awesome and gutsy blogs, and his Soul Sacrifice review just put other "journalists" at IGN and polygon to shame.
Wait, what?? What's this about some E-Sports platform being used for XBox One? What's it gotta do with Marvel vs Capcom 4?
Can u explain? I don't understand.
Why u took MGO away from me, huh Kojima? WHY?!!!
First off, I wanna say that I own everything from Atari, Master System, all the way to Gamecube and Ps3, and only just recently got rid of my underwhelming 360 due to my personal revelation that Live fee's are a rip off compared to what i get from ps plus (the same cost). So I owned it all. I have no bias, however I DO stand up for those companies that also stand up for TRUE core gaming. This generation, Sony was the lone soldier who didn't sell-out to gain the casual crowd. Yes, Sony...
Somebody get this man a PS3, fast! Don't throw your life away sir. I know how you feel--I sold my 360 too. But Jail sucks.
Just...give the man a PS3 with a copy of The Last of Us. Stat!
