No, even though Gamecube wasnt Iwata's idea, he certainly played a part in the oversaturation of mario. A system is only as good as it's games, so THAT is why GC suffered. If Wii U is next-gen simply because it's Nintendo's latest console, then I guess that Ouya is next gen too since it came out later. U need to relax buddy. Nowhere did it ever say that Wii U's sales were poor. In fact, if u do a word search, the word poor is never equated to the Wii U's sales. However, it's sales ARE low. And the article makes a strong point when it says that the casual demographic that sold the wii no longer applies to the wii u. Which is a fact since the wii was hardly ever catered to anyone but casuals.

What is 3ds worth when compared to Iphones and Android? I know it's a dedicated handheld, but it's sales are being absorbed by phones. So to an extent, Nintendo cant rely on the 3ds alone to support them forever.
Aside from backwards compatibility with Ds games, and some current/upcoming Shin Megami Tensiei And Monster Hunter games, I dont see any other appealing games coming out for 3ds.

They promised a lot but not much was actually shown/running. At ghis rate, we wont see these games till 2014. Shin Megami X Fire Emblem only showed pre-made static images from older games, and even Bayonetta 2 only showed wire-frame data lol. Platinum only now finished Rising game. By 2014, ps4 and 720 will be here, and Wii U's games will be too late.

This sucks. At least show us some gameplay (not trailers) and tell us exactly how the game plays. All I hear about is how BIG Los Santos is.
