Every leak about this new PS eye points toward it being used primarily for Headtracking. That is all. Not a single leak said it was capable of body tracking. If they were ALL fake reports just to get hits, then one of those sites would have made the sensational claim that it functions essentially like a kinect (which would have caused a huge stire & high hits for the site).

Fox Engine already has Cry Engine beat. And Kojima may allow 3rd parties to lease it at a cheap price (and free for other konami studios). Also, Luminous Engine is beautiful too! And the new Unreal Engine is nothing to sneeze at either. I think the limit can go beyond Cry engine.

I love PSASBR, but I think Persona 4 Arena should have won fighting goty, hands down (and NO it's not because i'm an obvious Persona fan (my avatar), but because it's a great fighter. The storytelling was weak, so as a persona fan it disappointed in the category. But as a fighter, I was hooked!)
Who cares any way? Crytek would have a lot more money and success if they made more games, and did less talking.

True, but the low frame rate and low resolution of the ps3 eye made it a chore to use. U have to turn head so far that u no longer see screen. Plus the response was laggy. Higher hd camera with higher framerate will remedy that (like what's done for pc gaming). Man i'm so excited!
Before Kinect, there was the ps eyetoy. NEVER ONCE did Sony sell out the core gamers for casuals (even when making games that were casual-friendly, the same games for the eye had a core following and flavor to them). Ever since Kinect, Microsoft never once gave a crap about the core again. It was just Kinect with a re-hash of halo, forza, gears every year (with no improvements in sight).

Head tracking is a MUST for the evolution of the increasingly stale FPS genre. PC gamers have been enjoying it for flight games, first person shooters, and racing sims. Being able to "see" past the screen's limited view (even if just for a second) just allows for more precision, speedier reaction, and more confidence in one's ability to navigate and dominate his/her surroundings. Imagine what this could do for battlefield! A regular controller + head tracking is all I need. ...
Maybe if your on 360. Ps3 relies on it's exclusives 1st, with 3rd parties as a bonus (signs a console manufacturer is actually TRYING to win-over customers). Wii U's first party games just havent arrived yet (though i'm sick of nintendo's oversaturation of old IP's).
Ps3 gamers never have to rely solely on multiplats. We have tons of varried exclusives and indie games for everybody.

Microsoft hasn't barely even supported the 360 in the last 3 years, yet they still haven't announced their next console. I will NEVER trust Microsoft at this current rate. I think they've betrayed the trust of many customers.
Also uses same tired engine, sound effects, and animations every year too.
Yeah what ever happened to Respawn? Have not seen any games yet from them.
