Ninja theory are probably pretty happy to be using unreal 5 to its fullest on the worlds most powerful console. Hellblade 2 will be a great exclusive and a true showcase title.

If you think that’s the only advantage the sx has you need to do some research plus the ps5 hasn’t proved it can maintain 10 plus tflops so we will have to wait and see. There’s no good excuse for not having set clocks other than they couldn’t afford a proper gpu or cpu. The series x is capable of double the res or double the frames it’s up to devs to pick

If Phil hasn’t seen this demo running on the sx he will soon. I’d say he has seen it already. They say it runs at 4k 60 and really embarrasses the ps5 head to head. I mean only reason they showed it on the ps5 is to get in Sony’s good graces because they are trying to land their exclusive games for the epic games store on pc

Wel I’m sure ninja theory know the series x will run this tech demo in stunning fashion. The most impressive thing about it is how great the engine makes checkerboard 1440 p look with it’s new rendering techniques. The global illumination is a very nice step up from current tech. Unreal is always a very popular engine so it really upping its game is great for all parties in the industry
I don’t think that’s gonna be a problem. It’s an excuse not a problem with how well games scale on modern engines. You got games running on high end PCs and the lowly switch if you need a comparison
