GOT got an unlocked frame rate which is nice but in no manner did it receive any other updates to graphics or resolution.

Na it won’t hold it back one bit. Once devs better utilize the series s it will start to perform much better. Especially once amd releases their version of dlls super resolution on consoles. From the looks of hitman 3 super resolution will help the ps5 as well.
No they didn’t they just made the game better in the better system and I wouldn’t say dirt 5 is really better on any system. It is far from a technical marvel.

The series x is a better system than the Xbox one ever was (better than the ps5 for that matter) and it will continue to sell very well. Even if you don’t like Xbox that really shouldn’t bother you.

Unfortunately sloth I pay full price for most games I’ve purchased. But recently with the 70$ games I have been lucky enough to bypass those by scoring decent deals on eBay

I don’t know if the law differs in dealing with digital products compared to physical but I can tell you for a fact the state I live in if it’s priced a certain way you are expected to honor that price. I’m sure if something was supposed to be 499 not 4.99 there might be a clause but Sony should honor those purchases

Also I’m not the first person to say that to better compete future PlayStation games will be cut in scope compared to their predecessors. Why would I wish games I enjoyed was shorter? I wouldn’t but the fact they are saying these games are gonna release this year definitely lends credibility to these rumors. Either that or they just straight up lied which I wouldn’t doubt either. There are laws in place to keep companies from putting one price on something and charging you differently.
Digital content should be no different. Consumer protection laws vary from state to state but there are absolutely states that they would have to honor the price I’m sure there are loopholes dealing with a digital product but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a classless move
