I agree with what you are saying, however the Vita has been sort of a fail. This attempt will not get it to sell any better than how it is selling now.
I know Sony is trying to use the connectivity of Vita and the PS4 to massage sales of the Vita... but that is not going to work. Who is going to put down $450 (for example) for the PS4 then another $200+ dollars for the Vita. Love or hate it, the Wii U did the right thing by including that option with ever purchase of the Wii U.
I do not see this catching on and it will be the only fail for them this coming next gen.
The bigger issue here is how will I be able to play my PS3 games on PS4 without it costing me to do so. Sony needs to address this at their E3 conference. Repaying for a game you paid full retail price on will not be acceptable.
I completely disagree with you but at the end of the day... its your money to waste.
What!!! "They may as well release it and see if they can make some money back from it." Who in their right mind will buy that hot turd of a game??? Its is now known the game is a disgrace to the Alien brand. I know I will not waste my $60 on it.
Everything. I will not be surprised if the Wii U is now cancelled.
It shouldn't be... they have more time to develop the games for all consoles.
If this game turned out to just simple be a port of the PS3/Xbox360 version (I expect better visuals) then I will get it for my PS4. I own a Wii U and will be getting the PS4. I already traded in my PS3. Got to get value for it before it drops.
His prediction of the Xbox720 being more powerful than the PS4 and also costing $400 is so not going to happen. If...and I am mean if by some chance its more powerful, it will cost more than $400.
At the end of the day its all about the games, social media and new/improved services all three will bring to the table this E3 that will determine victory.
You can get it from amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Power...
Yep.
The cost for PS4 that makes sense would be a range of $400 to $450 at max. Anything above those price point will mean another poor start in sales for Sony. The will apply to Microsoft Xbox720.
The Power Pak for Wii U, which cost $24.99, makes since. It is 3X the capacity of the WiiU gamepad stock battery (estimated to be on average 4hrs).
Well Sony did learn the painful lesson this generation that they cannot just rely on their name alone, that having a easy to program for console which is future proof and aggressively going after core games is the only way to be successful. I like what they are doing so far. I will be getting the PS4 to complete my gaming combo with my Wii U.
100% agree, WiiU/PS4 combo for the win.
It better be based off the PC version.
I hope the Wii U version is based on the PC version and not a lazy port of the 360/PS3 version.
Talk about a broken record from you haters. Ever launch of every Nintendo console people like you sing from the hills the end is near and yet it never happens. Even during their worst console cycle the company remains profitable. Profitable normally means not going out of business so just give it a rest already.
MMO or MMO based games will be a huge hit on the Wii U. So I am not sure how you came to your misguided conclusions.
@SpringHeeledJack
So to follow your logic vs putting pressure on the company to make their new console backward compatitble, you should own all previous generation consoles. So I take it you still own the PS2 (to play PS2 games), the PS3 (to play PS3 games) and then soon to own the PS4. Plus they are all connected to your TV/Monitor. Seriously.... how crazy is that???
