Re4 wasn't a 'true' re game and yet I dont hear too many people whining about that. Just wait until we see the damn game before dismissing it

Interesting yes, but I'd rather EA focus on the main platforms, they've had a great start to 2011 and they are really turning things around and becoming a quality publisher AND developer.
Sony normally get things right when they publish big third party titles. Although I've not heard of this, if it really is an action rpg I look forward to hearing more about it. Maybe e3.

Not to be rude or anything but this is a FIRMWARE update. You cant magically make hardware a better format via software updates.
gt5 and shift 2 are both excellent games and racing enthusiasts will enjoy them both.
There's no doubt it's been a bit underwhelming so far. But then so was the original DS until the lite came around. The price and launch are obvious reasons and in UK at least it was overshadowed by the iPad being released on the same day.
Another interesting reason is to do with the name and psychology. They should have stayed away from the DS brand because after so many iterations that have included such minor upgrades, many people justthink it's a dsi but with ...

Boo hoo mate. Pandemic released a slew of average games. Most were even kept on at different studios anyway. EA are on a roll and big John Ricotello a man that deserves some serious recognition. If you're gonna not buy their games over a reason like that then it's really your own loss.

The 360 is hardly finished it sells more than the ps3 worldwide lol. But a new console from someone will be good because both hd consoles are fairly similar right now bar the odd exclusive here and there. Having something new will stop this identify crisis. I stil think it's a while off though
Tbf on the whole the 3rd is a piece a crap IMO. On the one hand sf4 looms quite beautiful on it when you turn the 3D off but assigning combos to the touch screen so noobs can mash away on shit I've spent 20 years mastering? Really capcom?

Since the game was first announced, there's never been anything about it which has captivated me. Reviewing games based on betas is lame, but I would not be surprised if the game ends up getting 7/10's when it launches.
