Moss, Astro Bot and Rigs are not what you would call "AAA" in the traditional manner, and even at that, this so called "AAA" bollocks is just a overrated cliche industry buzzword these days. For example, Fallout 76 is a "AAA" game, and look at the fcking state of it. See what I mean.
No, those games on the PSVR are indy to mid tier titles, but by no means does that make then inferior or worse than the so called "AAA" flat mainstream ...
"its real ray tracing but not as good as the best it could be."
No. No it isn't. It's not a photon physics based ray tracer engine. There is a massive difference. There's a reason why CGI in Hollywood costs hundreds of thousands, if not in the millions, and about a year minimum of workload to produce it.
Unexpected, but really good to see. No fuss, just like it should be, and used to be. None of this standing on stage and expecting a rapturous applause for nothing bollocks. Just "here's the game we're working on. Hope you like it".
Hopefully in this one they revert back to a dungeon, puzzle solving, back tracking kind of game design. I loved the openness of the first game, but it needed some of those Zelda style dungeons in there as the temples became a bi...
I loved that game as much as anyone, but I think Banjo was as good, if not better. It took all that best elements from Mario 64 and expanded on them with more creative and diverse levels. CBF hasn't aged well at all due to its humor and terrible voice acting, but like Banjo, it was pushing the hardware more and had some brilliant gameplay elements to it. Mario 64 aged the best out of the lot because it had a very basic art style and simple, yet brilliant, level design.
"Nah only been a gamer for 30yrs mate."
For someone that experienced, you'd think you'd know that a term like "ray tracing" is being thrown around here like it's actually true ray tracing. It isn't.
They saw the microtransaction store option.
No. Living in a fucked up society that promotes guns is more likely to draw kids to guns.
Yes, VR and abundant exclusives?. Who cares? Lets bring out a shower gel and some deodorant. For the players!
Also expect the bottle to have half in it, with future top ups available via microtransactions.
This is exactly the kind of unrealistic, and frankly utterly ridiculous entitlement that VR faces from the likes of this clown. Wanting something that is currently cutting edge (technology wise, not within its own niche) for the price of a game. Good luck even finding a phone from a couple of years ago with a 1080p screen on it for that price. Absolute joker.
I've only played a little, but have read this complaint before. One small thing I wish they'd add would be the ability to eject your clip manually before reloading. This was in London Heist, so not sure why they removed that, as it's just more satisfying and immersive that way. Hope they add it in a patch.
The game is fantastic from what I've played so far. Seriously, nothing touches the immersion of the fact that in VR and an FPS, you are the one doing the shooting. You've to physically duck, and lean in and out of cover, lift the gun and take your shot. It's an incredible feeling, and picking up a controller to play an FPS after that feels redundant and outdated. I laugh when I read people getting hyped for another tired, washed out rehashed COD. Good for you, but I've moved o...
Just how stupid are people? This is nothing more than a pathetic cash grab again, by attempting to remake something that was once really popular because they've ran clean out of ideas, yet for some reason this gets you all "hyped"? No wonder this industry is taking the piss with loot boxes, microtransactions and whatnot. You're all suckers and you fall for it, time and time again. MW is barely 10 years old, and it's been remastered and repackaged and sold behind a premiu...
Why would it be on rails? Do you think only one type of game design is applicable to VR or something? Go and try it. I'll guarantee you'll not be so hesitant after.
It was a product of a time well before people gave a shit about silly, unimportant things, and didn't have things like Twitter and Facebook to get on and moan about it. A time when just having zombies and blood in a game was exciting. The box art didn't have to make any sense.
Well done America. Voted for this dickhead on the predication of far right bigotry, and "sticking it to the man", by voting for, er, the man. The working class, forever paying for the rich to be richer. But you fat fuckers over there are too thick to understand that with your warped sense of politics. *Big slow clap*
Most likely for cinema or arcades. That's if it even comes to fruition.
Mark Cerny's spunk.
I'm sure a lot on here would slurp it down.
Whether people on here will like to hear this or not, VR is a prime focus of the new system and you need all the power in hardware you can get when it comes to that. That's not speculation. That's come straight out of the horses mouth, and I couldn't be more pleased about it.
You're absolutely mental if you think that a TV is better. A TV is the equivalent of peering into a small window on the other side of your room, where everything is flat, and freedom is "limited". A controller for an FPS. Use a thumb stick to move and look around to point a gun, versus using your own head, eyeballs, legs and arms where you can physically lean and step. Press a button to reload a gun and aim down the sight, versus actually doing it with your hands like it was a r...
