Am I allowed to address the elephant in the room without being accused of being racist?
I'm going to dawn a black leather trench coat, and Cosplay as Blade at the end of the month. I'm white, but I'm sure I'll nail it.
I mean, it's bleeding f*cking obvious that she hasn't "nailed" f*ck all here! Worth a "nailing" though, I'll give her that.
What are these masterpieces you speak of?
I own a Pro BTW.
"Several years back when the PSVR launched (wow we really can't say VR is in its infancy, relatively speaking, anymore) "
Stopped reading that right there, simply because of the undertones and connotations behind it. That really does sound like a sarcastically pointed thing to say, almost like a jib at VR, and not to mention just how fantastically ignorant it really is in terms of where VR is in the overall picture.
Idiots stealing a living...
Surprised they didn't chop that out of the game and sell it as DLC.
"maybe I can play without vr sometimes just move the headset with my hand and look on tv for some parts"
Why on earth would you want to do this? It's a VR game for VR.
That doesn't matter. This is a good base to start from. In the near future, if we get wireless HMD's, wider FOV and better optics and clearer screens, then it's devices like this that will help pave the way for that.
Playing Super Hot now on PSVR. Amazing, amazing experience and game. Unlike anything I've ever played. Having that and Moss and not being tethered with perfect tracking on this thing is a huge deal. I can see this headset being a big success, especially when the price comes down. It makes me even more excited for what Sony will do for their next headset now that we know what is possible with the hardware.
It almost serves me right to read the comments regarding this, and the idiocracy that entails.
This is essentially the very first HMD that is both wireless, doesn't need external hardware, and has a full 6DoF without any external hardware. That is absolutely massive as far as VR is concerned, and it's a true breakthrough for the technology. We haven't even seen gen 2 yet of VR, yet the shackles of what can be viewed as constraints or flaws in the tech are already b...
PS2 levels?
Let me know what drugs you're on, and were on, back in 2001 and now.
Yeah. It was one of those luxuries "what, you've internet. You must be rich?"
Or most times it was "what's internet?"
Ah, back in 1995. Back when gaming was good, and publishers weren't absolute c*nts, and, well, online comments sections such as this didn't exist, thus no pollution.
So if I play this, will I run the risk of shitting myself?
Spot on. Although you say "we", I say "most".
No, no. Absolutely not. You're wrong when it comes to your motion control statement. They are an absolute necessity in VR, because that's what half of VR is about: to physically interact what you're doing inside the virtual world, which leads to more presence and immersion. People get confused because of past iterations of so called motion controls like the Wii and Kinect, but in VR it's completely different. Your other statement about making VR for sitting down also makes zer...
That'd be stunning.
When 200 degree FOV HMD's are a common thing, I can only imagine what a game like this would be like. Hopefully it happens.
Oh FFS. Point missed entirely.
Dry your eyes.
"PSN Store Sale Now Live"
Shame that most of these writers of these articles seem to forget that we live on a thing called "planet Earth" and not planet America, where there are these things called different regions and countries.
That's cause you're a proper hipster, aren't ye.
I wonder if a fat, balding, middle-aged man pulled on some short shorts, a blue tank top, wore a belt and holster. Would he nail it too? I mean, it's the same thing, isn't it? You just need the outfit, right? Sex, age, racial orientation doesn't matter, correct?
