My money is on Destiny if they haven't already put some preorder incentive in place.
Lets do. Are you hoping for another tsunami?
They really should. Haven't been commenting all that long but been on the site for a while. Lately it seems like there is more click bait than actual news, or articles from "the examiner" or whatever dressing up week old news in a new headline.
I'm digging the speaker more than anything. It's subtle little touches that make the difference. While using the spray can in Infamous was pretty cool, I'd rather have the speaker throwing out little ambient effects all game long.
They really hide some of that stuff well! I played the alpha to death and thought I'd been to every corner, but missed at least one huge area from footage of the alpha afterwards.
I don't mind it being capped at 8, had enough fun with it restricted there in the alpha and leaves more to discover when the game comes out.
They may have got their wish about the level cap for the full release though, was looking at screens on the app and theres a Titan at level 21 in one pic. Think they previously had it capped at 20? Could be from an old build though...
Anyone have any idea what lifetime PS Vita and PS3 sales are to date?
Edit - Never mind, should really read the whole thread before post...
I get the point hes making here but I honestly don't think most gamers would need to stumble across something organically, and it's still broken up into genres etc if you want to to search. If a game is good enough to be worthy of note it's automatically highlighted anyway
That's not to say it's perfect but it's a massive improvement on the last iteration
Max Payne blood trail room. I can still hear that baby screaming....
Clicker hat!
Well said. I would disagree with the justifying a purchase argument to a ceertain extent though. Other forms of entertainment have been around much longer and have a demographics ranging across all ages.
Older gamers are few and far between comparatively speaking as gaming used to be more of a niche market than it is today. I'm hoping as the younger generation of gamers get older the capacity for considered argument and debate rather than shit slinging will grow.
They do have some talent at the studio. If Sony isn't in a position to purchase, or doesn't feel the need to (not exactly wanting for first party studios) I'm sure they'll be courting some of the studios talent early, as will other devs.
Wow. Slow news day
It makes a big difference to character modelling. Tomb Raider is a prime example. Rather this than a "top 10 reasons why something sucks" article.
Was just listening to IGN's Podcast Beyond and they were discussing gender issues in games rather than games journalism but they brought up some good points about fan reaction which you can really see in action here.

There's a chance one side or the other has aces up their sleeve, or games that just weren't quite ready for E3 that could move people that are still on the fence
I'm hoping we see some more first party Sony studios at Gamescom. Guerrilla in particular
Exactly! They have the information to do an objective piece with pros vs cons? This "10 reasons why x sucks/is amazing" shit just confuses me. You don't have to enumerate opinions or section off good from bad. I don't get it unless you're just pandering to extreme views on either end of the spectrum.
Looks awesome, love the art style! Hope it plays as good as it looks...
Dragon Age has been pushed to Nov too. Maybe too crowded a launch window?
