Here is a crazy idea. Since DeNa will most likely build the app, would they consider that subscribers may also download NES games to iOS / Android via the app? They would need to bypass Apple and Google since the games can not be in app purchase from the stores without 30% fee.

Not Apples to Apples. Steam is not using its servers to host games. Battle.Net is a better comparison for not charging and hosting games.
On. I have not had a Nintendo console since NES. I preorder since I want Mario Cart and assume they will be out of consoles for 2 or 3 months. I almost got the Wii U for cart but knew the console was dead and waited for a major price drop that never happened. The Switch will be used for exclusives only. Will stick with my PC and PS4 for third party games.

I think this game will last longer on console. Not having a server browser and weak party system will cause clans to move on. The game will be fun but I do not see this having a following past a core group of fans playing 12+ months from now on PC.

Really depends. Can't blame Iron Galaxy if given 6 weeks and they said upfront to WB or Rocksteady that the game is a mess and 6 weeks is not enough time. If WB said do it anyway and okayed the launch, then I put less blame on Iron Galaxy more on WB and/or Rocksteady.
Since I do not know the facts, I can not say if Iron Galaxy is over 50% at blame and should not be hired. I would like to know other games they have ported and results.

Guys - I need (want) a new GPU to go with my new CPU. I plan on running 1080p at 60 for a few years. What is more than enough to run Ultra most games? 970? or should I just SLI my 760 from ebay?

Nice write up. I agree about third party games. It will hurt Nintendo if they do not have third party support. Less people will buy the Switch. However, I doubt I would by any third party on the system. Switch is the perfect second home console.
