There are times a company needs cash. It is not uncommon for companies to sell parts of it for needed cash in other areas. Today's business is about the quarter and shareholder value. It is not about the long term hit taking away a cash cow.

EA would make more if they put the game and DLC in steam for $65. It would get the people that refused to buy from Origin and comply with Steams rule like cryisis 2.

You are 100% correct but we are long past those days(Unless it is Valve). We might as well take a discount if we enjoy the game since we know paid DLC is not going way.
And they worked.... No need for a patch since devs dd not have the ability to patch the masses on day 1.
I got it because of the time exclusivity. Which does suck that they put that in there but they needed the perk to get people to buy the premium. Plus, since my clan plays this game I would have gotten the DLC anyway. I might as well get a few dollars savings.

Only way I buy is if it has ranked dedicated servers (PC). I hated MW2 and did not buy MW3 when I found out about non-dedis. I do think BO was the nearest to COD4.
Being playing PC since the original. I would not mind them going back to WW2.
Waiting for first deal. I want to believe the hype but have been burnt too many times the last few months paying $60. Not that the past games I got weren't fun they just did not have me playing past a month -Ex. twisted metal.
The last patch has finally got this game smooth and launch ready (PC). If you stopped playing you should consider picking back up.
Did not know it was $15. Thought it would be more. For that price I am going to get it just to support them. I am in the closed beta and it is pretty polished. I do not expect a lot of issues when it goes live.

I am a PC person so I do not have any love for Ubisoft but I do think they did better than everyone. I also play the Ps3 and I do not think Nintendo was as bad as I am reading.
I wasted money on eye pet for my kids. I think they played it once. I will not make the same mistake. I will also not make the same mistake regarding the move controller. That thing is collecting dust.

Agree. I also wanted a game that pushed me to get the Vita. Not sure what type of game I am looking for but something that I must have with cross play or use the vita as an added screen for the PS3. Maybe a FPS with load out on the touch screen. There is hope since they did show how the Vita can be used as a controler.

Agree. Wanted to see what the PS+ revamp. No new firmware. No new streaming service to PS3. They did bring the games.

Microsoft needs the business world to make this successful. Not gaming. The PRO is a true ultrabook replacement.
