Oh, Forbes..............gotcha!
Just tremendous on so many levels. Sony once more showing how it's done.
They stole it from Gamersyde. Blim mentioned this on GAF.
The big question now is, how good will the scaling be?
Speaking of EA:
A small rumour of BF4 running 720p upscaled to 1080p @60fps on PS4.
This will also be the case with XB1.
@Whitey, nothing was ever confirmed only that both machines will be 60fps.
One of the new sources.

Mem write is nothing to do with that figure. And remember its not 192 GB for the whole machine.
60fps is really nice (and vital for a sim) but sacrifices have been made elsewhere visually speaking.
Something along the lines of Pong maybe. Both of these consoles doing 4k would be the most basic of games......
Yes i know about the X1, but we're talking about the PS4 here.
Damage (if you can call it that) has already been done.
The truth is 3 months away. The bickering, the slanging matches, the insults will be over...until the 1st DF face off!
There is only one winner in the spec dept though, Interestingly, Yosp just tweeted a link to the NFS one better than other article 8)
"the title could have read - "A closer look at the excellent value xbox gold users will get next gen"
The definition of value differs from person to person.
Yep, my bad. I'm on GAF but not not under the DoesUs alias. I know how it works, just thought i'd post the clearest meaning.
Over the next few days more info on this will appear. And @Elite...you just fail at anything technical so please take your nonsense elsewhere. #shill
Launch games tell nothing, for either side. Look at Forza 2 (not launch but early enough) and then Forza 4. Resistance 1 and KZ2/3. You'll see things differentiate by quite a bit come the end of next year.
I can picture you scrambling around your keyboard now trying to somehow debunk this!
Don't get much clearer than from an AMD rep.
Sort of, it more how the CPU and GPU can utilize in a particular way. Its quite something actually.
How it works:
On a classical system you have a RAM pool and a VRAM pool that are physically speperated. Copying data from one pool to the other creates latency. The GPU is very good ad hiding latency. What it needs most is high bandwidth. The CPU on the other hand is extremely sensitive to latency. The CPU needs extremely low latency to work efficiently. Copying data from the RAM (CPU) to the VRAM (GPU) creates latency, but that's okay for the GPU. Copying data from RAM (...
"Only PlayStation 4 incorporates HUMA [Heterogeneous Uniform Memory Access]"
"This should put the 3D performance of PlayStation 4 much farther ahead of Xbox One than many have expected so far"
"Our guy on the ground has heard this as well from multiplatform developers and publishers. Their PS4 game builds are significantly outperforming the Xbox One game builds."
The important bits.
Yay! Metacritic! The general public seem not to care about Metacritic. You know, the people who actually buy these products?
