Both machines will see improvements with more mature drivers. The article sort of states XB1 will close the gap with better drivers. That sounds like Sony isn't working on refining/optimizing their drivers, which of course they will do 24/7. Performance levels between them both at launch of course will not be as great as in 2 or 3 years, but there will be differences. This is obvious. It's funny how the XB1 supporters use launch titles as their gauge for the machines parity! We'll...

Whats clear now i think is both the PS3 and 360 need a big cut to tap into the lesser well of families of the US. Clearly if both could be cut they would of been by now....maybe a $50 might happen in a few months...Actually same goes for the rest of the world also.

Rome wasn't built in a day. Much like the PS3 at the start, its a similar scenario now, only we won't be waiting as long on PS4 for the real heavy hitters to land. As can be seen in Feb when the incredible looking Infamous lands...History should tell you all what you need to know. There is only one company who churns out AAA hit after hit, and continues to do so on a 7rl old machine...unlike ...say someone else. People buying a new console purely for launch titles are clearly not thin...
