Once again, the PS3 strutting its stuff! 2013 seems like it will be quite a swansong for this ageing box. Just when you think console gaming has peaked, along comes something that pushes even further. Seems its the PS3 that does all the pushing.
Once again, peeps just need to look at the VGLeaks specs as they are accurate. The move engines are there to help in the bandwidth dept, same as the esram given the low bandwidth DDR3 limits to and the lack of power in the GPU. Will make the machine somewhat efficient but workarounds/compromises must be found when comparing to what the PS4 is capable of.
@Green. Nope, Nvidia are not involved. Same specs as have been leaked...for the umpteenth time. Your fall from grace will be spectacular if you keep this up.
MS and Sony are going in 2 somewhat different avenues.
Both won't be worried about each other to be honest.
Wheres POG/GreenPowerz when you need him?!
Hey POG/Greenpowaz!! You've been playing Tomb Raider quite a lot I see. Not as good as Unchartered, as you seem to think, which reminds me, did you read the Digital Foundry Tomb Raider face off? I know you like to wait for DF articles as they are the only people you trust. Should make interesting reading for you. Keep trolling dude!
@Green. DDR4?! Really?! Now go and check on the status and availability of DDR4 modules. Best of luck with that. There have been ZERO rumours about that, and you know fine well. The horse is already dead. The bullsh!t from your mouth beggars belief. Once again, the sooner you accept the better. LMAO, you've even posted VGLeaks info numerous times! Your desperation level has reached critical mass.
VGLeaks is accurate. No other info should be considered, including this.
@Don
"unless Microsoft has radically upgraded its graphics and memory configuration for Durango in the last nine months (an engineering nightmare unlikely to happen - it can't really add more chips as Sony has done)"

There are many many reports out there, confirmed by devs to be accurate, that the r...
Deary me, you just can't pipe down can you. I'll be watching your posts very closely once MS unveil. The amount of twisting and turning you're going to be doing will be a sight to behold.
My god you must live a sheltered life. You do realise VGLeaks has detailed breakdowns of everything yes? Including the GPU in both? The GPU in the PS4 is stronger by quite a margin. The memory in the PS4 is vastly superior to what MS has chosen. The only similarities lie in the CPU which are basically awash. Both are AMD Jaguar based, the same specs you are posting. This is now common knowledge regardless of if MS has unveiled or not. Nothing is changing. The egg on you face is going to be qu...

They must of been working with Sony aswell given both processors are the same. Elsewhere things are very different which will come to mainstream attention when MS finally announce. Exciting times ahead for the industry.
Sly, it's nigh on the same CPU. It's going to be rather disappointing to the MS supporters when the actual machine is unveiled.
This is basically the exact same CPU as what's in the PS4. Seriously, some of you really need a reality check, and do some research at the same time.
Basically the same processor as the PS4. 2 4 core Jaguars duct taped together ....in basic terms.
Edit:
Mr GreenP. Both processors are nigh on identical. How does one kill the other? GPU and MEM is where one kills the other, and it's not the outcome you are clearly praying for.
It's basically a stock Jaguar, much like the PS4 variant.
@riverstars86.
I've been in the industry for nearly 20yrs, i'll take my chances. 8)
It has 8 gig DDR3 ram. (nothing is changing from final kits. PS4 beats Durango in this area, considerably).
32 meg ESRAM (nothing is changing from final kits).
AMD processor (nothing is changing from final kits. This is an area Durango is on top against the PS4).
AMD GPU. (nothing is changing from final kits. PS4 beats Durango in this area by quite a bit).
Feel free to come back to this post in due course. It's about time you accept that Durango is...
@greenpowerz. Only the Sony specs trump Durango by a considerable margin. So no, they don't simply "match". You really should be banned from N4G for your constant fud in any PS4 articles.
There's no 2nd GPU.
