Ouch! I utilized their generous returns and price match policies last year when I purchased a 3dtv from them. Because of this policy, I was able to not only have $450.00refunded to my account, but Also got a free 3d blu ray player and glasses to go with it. This tightens things up a little. I like BB a lot, but to me, this is a sign of the inevitable. they have been telling us since 2009 , that it's only a matter of time before we go the way of tweeter and circuit city.
I was hoping it was going to be an aliens game using a lot of Borderlands concepts, in the same vein red dead redemption used the GTA mold. Boy was I wrong.....All things aside, this is still a business and love randy or not, the dude is trying to sell games to keep gearbox solvent. Without it, we may not see a borderlands three on next gen plats........
This is actually not an anti PS3 article.
Ahhhhhhh haaaa haa. The PS3 is far superior an entertainment device
I agree. I just hope we don,t get egg on our face if all they do is announce a price drop, a new bundle of some sort, a new Vita design, or god forbid announce a release date for The Last Guardian or something. With all this speculation, Sony better announce the PS4!
despite Sonys mishaps over the last ten years, they also have aloy going for them. they may play catch up when dealing with innovative control gimmicks, but that's because they are gimmicks! the only reason playstation whipped up the move was to bring on some bored casual gamers that wanted something better than wii. even though it takes them awhile to get it sometimes, at least they listen to their audience. look at the success of the Ps2, the psp, the ps3, and I have no doubt in my min...
Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup!
it's all about the experiences these systems can deliver. hopefully both machines can do that. my prediction is: The next gen winner will be the machine that CoD lovers purchase. my reasoning? I work with a bunch of casual gamers that think Call of Duty is only available on Xbox. I argue and argue but they won't listen. the popular comment I hear is "I'm getting whatever machine has CoD and Madden on it". these people are oblivious that both games are 3rd party titles. ...
Woh! Hold on a sec... bio ware has had their hands on these preliminary dev tools for only a little while. while I don't disagree completely with the point in this article. however, over time, some really smart, clever people will figure out ways to enhance the next gen gaming experience by doing things that other developers will question as to whether or not it can be done. it's happened every console cycle since the ps1. I remember when people doubted the ps1 being able to do FPS...
Word up to that! I've been waiting for games like this since the PS3 and the Xbox 360 launched, years ago. Now they are coming and gamers are flicking their fingers up at them... WHYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!
It's not that I don't trust Playstation Lifestyle's reviews, but I need to see a few more come down the pipe before I commit to purchasing this game. I played the demo a couple of times and found the combat very challenging, the visuals we're great, as well as the music. I appreciate the early review though. I hope it is every bit as good as the reviewer says it is.
UMMMMMM........Looks exactly like last years trailer. Except there is a new type of interface or something in the trailer. all I saw were dots running around the diamond in a menu screen. Not a bad thing, but I cant see them making huge improvements until a PS4 version comes out in the next couple years.
I think people aren't understanding the severity of the used game sales market. Look at the statistics of used game sales. Go research companies that would still be in business if it weren't for the used game sales market. The bigger the used game sales market gets, the less and less content console gamers are going to see. Developers post this all the time. Costs are only going to get higher for big budget games. This is probably going to translate into paying higher prices for games...
In a perfect world, this type of system would work as follows. You will still get the gamers that pre order or pick up the new game in the first week or two. Then there is a period of a few weeks that the used game sells just as many copies. This makes sense considering the amount of time a game takes to finish and it's replayability. Some great multiplayer games don't have this problem. That's when the trading in begins. By taking the used game transaction away, Sony may only mar...
Dude! I used to work for GS. They would take in a used game systems, make sure they work, put them in a white box and put them in a BATHROOM!, because they had no storage space in the store. They would stack up xbox360's and use them as stools to reach things up high. I know this is only one GS and doesn't reflect all of them, but don't accuse me of making stuff up. I've seen these things happen. One of my managers there sold a used xbox360 , that didn't work, knowing the ...
I love how they call it Refurbished. How about thrown in a drawer behind the counter, check to see if it turns on or off, then sell it to someone else. What's worse thing that can happen? It either doesn't work or there is porn on the hard rive. A few years ago I purchased an xbox 360 hard rive from gamestop that had all sorts of things still on it. Nothing good like this kid found though.
All I needed to hear was Former employee! I worked for one of the best restaraunts in the country then I quit. When asked about the restaurant, I told people it sucked. Even though I knew it was the best
I'm with ya on this. It better be a PS4 Killzone Launch title. Please, Please,Please!!!!!!!!!
She wants to discuss her "feelings" about FFXIII and all you people want to do is discuss her FFXIII cup size! You should be ashamed of yourselves. Now I can't get on her web page because it's overloaded with traffic. All of you want to keep staring at her pair of "feelings". Disgusting minds!!!!!!!
No offense to you, but you have obviously not been informed. Best Buy plans on closing a fifth of it's big box stores this year alone. The CEO says time and time again that they are doing everything in their power to stay solvent. The company has admitted that it is only a matter of time before they all close. I'm not making this stuff up. Go google "are best buy stores closing?" Watch what you find. Believe me, I don't want this to happen, I love best buy. I hope they fi...
