Oh no! A Titanfall "Bunderer"
Wtf is going on over there at Naughty Dog? First Henning and now this! This is a bad sign. As a gamer, I can't wait for the next Uncharted and The Last of Us sequels. But at what expense? Will the quality of their next projects be affected negatively by this? I hope not.
It will be a fine year for ps3 and 4 owners. System transitions are always dodgy in their first year or so
Yeah! Ummmmmm nice thought but unlikely. The people over at the naughty dog camp do not have the time or resources to re-release TLOU on PS4. My guess would be A PS NOW version with no enhancements. Sorry to be a negative Nelly, but it is what it is
In 30 seconds it looks a little better, but still has the same exact look and animations for swinging early, foul balls, and pitching. Not knocking it but, how come we have to wait until May?
I never realized the day/night dynamic was absent in the previous two games. Was having to much fun beating down innocent bystanders to notice.
Sony just needs to ship it with a killzone "bunderer!"
Good points made here. Obviously, these shots will look different based on what device your viewing them on. I think the overall point is that 720p - 1080p can look equally impressive. The fact that the X1 is hitting 900p and the PS4 is running the same titles at 1080p is marginal and would only make a difference to the gamer if they Owned both machine and we're running the same game on both at the same time. 900p at a solid 30+ FPS will look better than 1080p at less than30fps. Sony has ...
The fuss will never end! As fanboys we must always make an attempt to make the consumer feel bad about themselves for purchasing the console we don't own! The psychology is that the fanboy really wants both machines but either can't afford both or can't handle both. When I hate on the X1, it has more to do with the fact that I secretly want one. In some ways, the fanboy hate is actually a great sign of respect for the machine I don't own. MS sucks
The answer is simple. The X1 only has 13 reviews and the PS4 has 37. You will notice the current gen version of the game has more reviews on the xbox360, as with most third party titles. The next gen standard will see most third party titles being reviewed on the PS4 rather than the X1. This is because the X1 is a piece of junk(and you thought this May be an unbiased post) hahahahahahahaha let the fanboy craziness begin baby!!!!!
Let me state this. Developers don't need to hit 60 fps firm! If they can keep it above 30fps it will be fine. There are a lot of games that try to hit 30 and you can see the frame rate drop dramatically at certain points of the game. 30 and above will be fine. Let's see what March and the sprig months bring for next gen titles. I don't think we will see any heavy hitters until E3 and fall releases of titles that we don't even know exist yet
After playing games like Uncharted, Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us, you get used to the motion blur gimmick. Which is why a game really moving at 60fps looks mind blowing. I go back to the Capcom game "lost planet." While not the best game ever made, the smooth frame rate made the game look insane. When I first played that game I spent the first 10 minutes or so just spinning the camera around because I liked the motion FX
What a joke of a promotion. MS has stumbled out of the gate and is having a hard time getting back up. In another move of desperation, they purchase the rights of gears of war because Epic was going to make it multiplatform. Problem is, Epic will not be developing any sequels, because they are done with it. Which leaves it in the hands of a developer that has minimal experience working with the Unreal Engine. MS are crapping their pants right in front of the consumer. Anyone who purchases thi...
30 fps steady would've been o.k. But without the 60fps and the Hi-res visuals you wouldn't get that "WOW" factor that I desperately seek in all my next gen games!
Never say never
I have been taken out of context here. The games visuals on the PS4 are impressive if comparing it to the PS3. They are the best visuals I have seen on the PS 4 so far. After burning through the launch lineup games, I felt let down and asking the question? What can or will be the difference in visuals for the next gen hardware? For example, Killzone 4 looks better then anything I've played on a PS3, but only marginally. Tomb Raider on PS4 was a "definitive" upgrade. A seperation...
All things aside, I never got around to playing Tomb Raider last year. I played it for the first time on my PS4 yesterday, and couldn't believe the visuals. It's the first game I have played on the PS4 that has given me the next gen "WOW" factor. HD remake or not, if this is just a taste of what we can expect this Generation then I can't wait! I agree with the article though. We don't need to be flooded with bad HD reboots.
Wow my internet bill is $200 more then last month? Oh I see, they charged me for my 37 seconds of youporn viewing!
Uggghhhhhhh! Use Ni No Kuni to pass the time. That game only takes 3 months to beat
The fact of the matter is, you can go to best but and get the X1 today. In my area all retailers are still out of PS4's. If I was a casual fan, and didn't care, I would buy an xbox1 today.
