They fired him for a reason. Besides Phil Spencer has turned Xbox around. Don has nothing to do with Xbox nor will he ever again. Good riddance.
Me too! I need that sweet spot price before I get it. Although I have been a little swayed with buying because Nintendo's weird policies. Still I won't be able to resist when Starfox comes out.
No offense but you sound kind of envious.
Why do people always seem to think that being a youtuber and or streamer is such a cake job? Have you ever a massed a million and a half people to be interested in ANYTHING you have done? Probably not.
Its fine for Nintendo to be stuck in the dark ages. Its fine they get a cut. Its also fine not to buy their stuff for stupid practices. Its not fine to act like its so easy to do what he does. Its easy to record your...
I believe you are talking about your country's sales tax. Sometimes in the US you have to pay state taxes on games depending on the tax laws. I don't think their is some governing valve tax that I know of.
Also have had many refunds and it went fine with steam.
As long as you are entertaining, have a talent for making me laugh and spend hours editing the videos together everyday. Its not like these guys just play and sit back collecting checks. Not to mention the checks they do get aren't exactly huge paychecks all the time.
Didn't people give the game a standing ovation at some private showing? They will probably have first and third person like 2. Either way the game is going to change. Its been so long and so many new things have been added to games in general.
Just seems people have their own perception about what it should be and I don't think it will ever match their expectations. Regardless I am looking forward to jumping back into the star wars universe.
Check out Swearys Deadly Premonition. He says he didn't even know about twin peaks and its very similar to it in a lot of ways.
Well, online matches for starters. Nobody argues that it wouldn't have been nicer to have a campaign and more guns. Even if the game got boring for a large portion of its players. It still has some of the most intuitive and fluid mechanics I have experienced in a FPS game. Not to mention this developer opted for frame rate to keep it smooth and also helps with the gameplay being so fluid. The game may have lacked in longevity but its still on the right track and really balanced.
I wouldn't say Zero threat. You can be killed by them.
68 gigs. That's pretty big. Well the 7th is my birthday.. I wont be able to play it that day but it will be ready a few days later. Cool.
What if he meant the PC and not Xbox?
Well games take longer than a few months to make. Most games have been in the making for many years.
Get a room you two! :p my external drive is dead sexy. They will add external support eventually though.
@rainslacker
I meant it from a sincere place. I didn't say it because I hate PS and only play on Xbox. I just get tired of hearing everyone's spin on how one greedy corporation is flawless and kinder than the other greedy corporation. I am a little hesitant to hand over the consumer minded appreciation award to a company that hasn't always been perfect. Especially since last gen the blu ray and price was more important than gaming until the end of the gen. They fo...
I have seen Phil Spencer praise PS and say its a great time to be a gamer. While I have only hear PS make fun of their competition every chance they can. Pitting gamers against each other by splitting us up into groups. I prefer the first way rather than last. I enjoy both of the consoles.
@bitby
Well that seems to be the popular vibe from people online. Fanboys alike. Hate or Love. There is no in between. I just don't understand why anyone would think a corporation cares. Seems weird to think that a corporation really cares without the motivation of profits don't you think? Its not like corporations are Santa Clause handing out free gifts to children. We pay them to deliver and make entertainment for us. You think Sony wouldn't enjoy taking out the...
I have only reached the werewolf 2nd boss in the cemetery of yharnham. I wiped through the first big boss and monsters. Then made it to that guy accidentally... I was like Noooooooo I need to upgrade first! I almost beat him first try. I could have thrown a rock at him and he would have died. he got that lucky combo on me in the corner when I dodged into something something.. I was pissed. Haha. I have only played about 9-10 hours so far.
I think that's the goal of all corporations to be successful. To beat out the competition isn't it? Its weird to think people would think otherwise. This day and age it feels like people root for corporations greed like a sports team. That goes for MS, Sony and any other corporation that has built its empire on profit. Seems like people think one is Robin Hood even if Robin Hood charges the poor for his services to steal from his rich self.
What about the MAC vs PC commercials?
It might be leaning towards PC gaming?
