I can imagine it's a scary feeling to do kickstarter. Sometimes it's the right person on the right day. Then it explodes.
We all have this problem man. Haha. You buy for the future but the future never comes.
This games has a real creepy vibe to it. I like the joy mechanic.
I really feel like Skyrim was a huge entry point or shift in PC gaming. Not that it hasn't been thriving it's just around that time PC gaming started to grow more. Eventually I believe it will outgrow our expectations. It keeps growing. Especially now that even console fans are aware enough to complain about frames and resolution.
I could definitely use a good keyboard. Mine is all jenky. Haha
Good luck to everybody.
This is a pretty cool promotion I am down to support.
That 7.50 is still more to thE people who made the game than a $50 used console retail copy sold at gamestop, Craigslist or ebay. It still supports the developement.
I think it's fair to say there are people on every available platform of this game that have done that with this. It's also safe to say each platform has people who beat it.
@King thrash
I get all that. My point was that just because a device includes more than the ability to just play games doesn't make it useless or pointless. It has value and for those that only like devices that play games they have an option to not buy a kinet or not buy a ps camera. To say the kinect is pointless because your value of it relies solely on motion games seems unfair. Sure if we have an agenda to compare xbox to PS4 that makes perfect sense. Otherwise the c...
Voice commands are nice witout having to wear or carry something. Especially if you don't want to carry your controller and headphones around. When I wake up and make breakfast I enter the room "xbox on" and watch whatever I want while I am making breakfast. When I want to Skype my family or friends I have a camera. Much like my camera on my PC. It also turns on my entire entertainment system and TV when I say on at the same time. Plus I don't have to fumble through any menu...
Isn't Hololens using kinect tech? What's your point. Seems like a love letter to Sony.
That doesn't mean they want to "kill the console market".. It just means they want to cover every possible base so that they are a choice regardless of platform or device. It's a way more connected future plan for the company.
While some of what you say is right there feels like a weird reasoning behind it. It's rather popular to wish or create doom when it comes to MS online these days. Let's not forget these are all corporations but moreso recent...
I have been saying for a long time that MS wants to be like steam in a lot of ways. At least in the gaming department. They are a software company. Even the OG xbox was made to push their own software. Blurring the line between devices and the use of their cloud seems to be where they are headed. It may not be big now but they seem to be paving the way for a pretty large connected future. It's only going to get bigger.
I had a feeling that Destiny was going to be more about the money. After beating the game I realized it was 10% game and 90% DLC...
If you do your research both sony and MS have copied a lot off each other. As well as many other gaming companies.
Had MS been smart and sold these for $120 under the cost of Scuff controllers. They would have caught more attention and probably sold more to NOT just previous scuff owners. I was a little taken back that they cost more then them.
@summons
I wasn't whining. Of course I want a better game. I just don't trust the visuals that everyone talks about. Still gonna buy it. Never said it was gonna make the game bad either. I just don't put much faith in this being the final visual product as everybody else does.
We also love games before we play them too. Hope for the best.
Indie games are really starting to shine these days.
