Ill be downloading via gamepass when i get back home XD

Yes you need online access to install the game, but not for playing the game, once the game is installed, you can play offline.

But like i said, with the game having live service elements, who would play it offline?

For correct info, the disc includes the campaign, 15GB of the 28GB filesize to be exact, it is just not complete with the remainder requiring to be downloaded, nothing new in todays day and age. No game is released with a full complete playabl...

Thanks,

it was teased in 2016 or something like that wasn't it? it was one of the few titles at the time that piqued my interest, i think 2022 is shaping up to be a busy year for gamers.

"Although 50GB+ Blu-ray game discs coming with 500MB install files has become the new norm for the games industry (and has been for some time) it's still disappointing and will make Halo Infinite preservation very difficult. It's a live game, after all"

I'm not quite sure why people would be expecting to play a live service game offline lmao, even if the game was on the disk, it still would not be playable until 343i "flip the switch"

@eaze2013

Resources will decrease due to environmental factors, solar panels stop working during the night, storms affect power lines sometimes cutting off certain mines etc, for me i started using wind turbines mainly, with a few solar in support, also build a few energy stores so that by the time the sun rises and kicks the solar panels back on, you still have energy reserves.

@Hatchetforce

So what is your take on Sony's rumoured gamepass competitor?

@ocelot07

Another one that saw a lower Tflop number and assumed the GPU is weaker.

I really have high hopes for education on this site some day.

@dbcoops

You implied the Series S is the weaker console, which you implied incorrectly, don't be upset i saw right through your comment.

@TheDoomedGuy

"The series S is weaker in every aspect except the SSD."

Someone else who does not understand that higher numbers, does not automatically mean better.

See Darth's comment above to have a clue what is being discussed ^^^^^

Most people see higher numbers, and instantly assume higher means better, in system architecture, no.

A 3ghz processor, can be worse than a 1.2ghz processor, higher is not always better.

If you like base building games, or RTS games, then you will enjoy it.

The Series S will be able to provide higher quality games than the One X, maybe not in terms of resolution, but when it comes to the basics of games, the quality will be higher on the Series S, because it is the more powerful system.

Ram does not dictate a systems power, 10 GB GDDR6 with 128-bit bus, 8 GB @ 224 GB/s, 2 GB @ 56 GB/s, is better than 12GB of GDDR5 RAM @ 6.8GHz w/ 326 GB/s bandwidth (bandwidth is the amount that can be sent to Ram at any time, higher bandwidth ...

Needs tags adding for these platforms.

Fully aware, but a Series S will not be able to output 4K with high quality assets, you must be referring to Ori, which is one of few games even higher than 1440p on the Series S.

1650d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

What? I have never said anything along the lines of what you are implying.

In multiplat games, if the PS5 has a lower resolution, but higher quality assets than Series X, then i would say exactly that, both PS5 and Series X can be classed as "true" 4K, all that is is a resolution of Native 3840 x 2160p, easily achievable by both, and has already been achieved.

I am literally quoting facts, how is that giving an excuse? The One X is not capable o...

"The one x is more powerful then the s. That's why it runs at higher rez. It's that clear."

You just displayed your understanding or lack thereof, of console architecture with this statement.

@dbcoops

No, the weaker system is still the weaker version, any understanding of resolution/fps/assets would realise this.

One X = higher resolution/lower assets to achieve 4K
Series S = lower resolution/higher quality assets

4K resolution means nothing if the assets are garbage

1650d ago 11 agree7 disagreeView comment

Ok, very misleading omitting of factual information. The One X has a higher resolution, due to A) it being a 4K capable machine, and B) having lower quality assets when compared to the Series S.

"So yes, the Xbox One X offers significantly higher resolution than the Xbox Series S, although the situation isn’t entirely clear-cut. The Series X/S do offer somewhat higher-poly geometry/terrain and improved shadows and effects compared to the One X/S, which could account fo...
