It was good, i give you that, but a few flaws with your attempted "flip".
1 ) Series does not have a "rest mode" so is impossible to suffer loss of data/corruption when utlised.
2) There also was no "rest mode" from last generation

The point i think that should be looked at here, is they are doing this to "avoid scalping", so why not just make them available at stores, and implement something to stop scalpers?
Stores here in the UK did it to stop scalpers of the Series.

No it means exactly what it says on the tin, it is easier to get a PS5, if you already own a PS5, than it is if you do not have a PSN ID.

Yeah it is a glitch, a quick look on TA shows that 92% have gotten the 1st achievement, even though it still shows as rare.
67% have completed all chapters of the DLC
Granted this is only TA tracked gamers, but is normally a good representation of the overall playerbase.
