The news is soon to be here, i called the fact that not only will other manufacturers soon release compatible cards for the SSD slot, but adapters are more or less a given.
I know there is a crowd on here that will call the "but proprietary" card, but it is documented that Seagate are not the only ones to be going to be selling these cards.
I predict, there will soon be 2TB, 3TB options from Seagate, along with WD and others.

Come off it man, the campaign is there, the online multiplayer is there, those are literally the 2 crucial features of Halo.
Campaign co-op is not crucial, and neither is forge mode. Big woop, i will not be able to do a co-op campaign or design a multiplayer level on launch day, neither of which i would have been doing on launch day anyway even if available.
For me it is straight up online, and then campaign...

I just meant PS only gamers, them that otherwise would not touch xbox or PC, in other words, those that have not played it as of yet, it is good that that section of gamers, get to experience Alan Wake.
Day 1 for me, and good that Playstation gamers get to experience Alan Wake now also.

Sony's original plan, when they talked about believing in generations, was simply to push gamers to the PS5, let's not sugarcoat it, xbox had the opposite view, of allowing the gamer to decide when to jump into next gen.
This is clearly evident in the sales figures, and why Series is selling at a good but not outstanding pace, because most if not all games will soon be playable on xbox one, flight simulator and the like included....

"we believe in generations" was the motto until Sony realised the install base just would not be there for 1-2 years to make profit on games.
That is why they have added last gen to the picture, exactly what xbox and phil were saying from the get go, and they got destroyed for having that stance.

No one is saying the CPU is running cooler, just still within range, the heat generated will be the same, it is just being transferred, and extracted better than before.

There is no static temperature of a component, you have a thermal range, this will increase/decrease depending on load. Having a smaller heatsink, does not necessarily equal a hotter CPU, if the heat is transferred quicker by an amended cooling solution, the CPU may actually have a lower thermal signature, whilst the heat extracted will be warmer.
No one thinks heat levels of CPU's stay the same, regardless of cooling solution, other than peop...
This is different though, this is Sony so will get a pass as an outstanding innovative feature.
