Gamespot sucks for many reasons including their crappy reviews and bias.
It's kind of like money is their crack and MS is the dope dealer. They sell everything they're supposed to be to get that crack.
Fake, the rainbow effect isn't consistent on the left side of the car.

My friend bought one at the Sony Style store in LA. In fact, they broke street date and sold it on Sunday.
Madden on the 360 constantly freezes up and drops connection yet they make no mention of this and in fact praise the 360 version:
"This year marks the 20th anniversary of Electronic Arts' celebrated pigskin franchise, and the company has something special in store for the 2009 installment, especially on Xbox 360"
Why are they waiting to review LBP for the online but won't give SOCOM a bit of time. 1UP is always gunning to declare the next good PS3 title a flop. They of course will only go so far to try and give the illusion of a reputable reviewer. Thus they will give LBP a good score.
XPlay used to have a lot of good reviews. They've just been suffering since G4 was bought buy MS.
It's almost like they give crappy scores just to get publicity. Usually the fanboyism goes the other way but in this case I think these folks are being a little over critical.

Historically 360 games of simular quality get higher scores. In fact, look at XBLA reviews compared to PSN reviews. Many of the PSN games are far better and get lower scores.

Why is that so hard to believe? LBP is ground breaking in many ways. Fable II is just a bigger, better Fable I. Personally I'm excited to get both.
Agreed, the 360 is overrated. Live is far less stable than PSN. The only thing it has now is seemless chat which hopefully Sony will add soon.

I swear Gamespot and 1UP are like the GOP of gaming. While they're all a little corrupt these guys practically where it like a badge of honor.
The Japanese know not to mix politics with their business.
Sackboy will lead the charge but they need to keep the games coming and the price shrinking. The PS3 is a great deal, especially compared to the 360 and other blu-ray players.
The 360 version is 720p upscaled. No different than a TV that is 1080p upscaling a 720p signal.
