These vs. articles are very poorly organized.
PS3 sales less of one particular game but will sell more games overall over it's lifespan including downloadable titles which I think are better on PSN then XBLA.
Why is this a suprise? Most PS3 owners I know aren't fanboys. They respect what each console has done well. Almost all 360 owners I know that don't have a PS3 act like fanboys.
Really the main thing making Live better is the seemless chat. It's just a critical feature that PSN lacks.
The voting choices are lame. No one ever mentions how good the PSN games are. Honestly I think the PSN downloadable titles are much better than XBLA titles. Super Startdust HD, Everyday Shooter, Calling all Cars, PixelJunk Monsters, Warhawk, etc...
I'm amazed they didn't pick a 360 game. GT is usually biased in that direction. Looks like they may be jumping on the bandwagon.
In theory this makes sense but the author provides no specific examples. I agree with the positives stated about Sony but the negatives about MS have no backing.
A lot of Japanese suffer from 3D motion sickness. A lot of FPS games cause this. There's a pride thing going on too. Just like many Americans swear on 360 simply because it's American, the Japanese do the same with the PS3/Wii.
I kind of get it. Mostly FPS and Americanized games were hyped early on and the Japanese don't care too much for either of those. It took some time for the JRPGs to come around and by then the Wii and PS3 were out. I think Japanese also are very concerned with quality and the 360 has a bit of a bad rep.

How shortsided is this article. It's obvious the PS3 is headed for second place. The sales will be dramatically different than now four years into the console's lifespan. It's already rapidly catching the 360.
So this 17 year old expert just heard about MGS4 at E3 and traded in all his 360 stuff to get it? WTH, this is a seriously lame article.
I prefer the PS3 myself but to trade in all that stuff for a PS3 and a game and somehow say this represents a new trend is completely dumb.

Too bad wireless is still a rip. My Wii has it, heck my PSP has it, heck the freakn DS has wirelss yet MS charges $100 for it.
360 is still too expensive.
