Reminds me of the new XBox experience which is a quick half-ass reaction to Home. This one of course reacting to LBP.
Sony 1st party > MS. Sony owns something like 21 game studios, many of which put out quality products. Not to mention companys like Mm and Insomniac which have been labelled 2nd party. MS can keep buying exclusives, losing money and not keep up.
Unfortunatly Sony's hardware costs have been so extreme it's been hard to compete. The only thing that has help has been that MS has massive costs for a much less capable console due to quality issues.
I personally like MGS4 better than Gears although I liked Uncharted better than both. I guess I'm just strange that way...
Now I like LBP better than all three.
Geez... installs are only ok if it's on the XBox because it prevents the crappy hardware from imploding and makes less noise. Since these people have no idea what it does for the PS3, it must be bad.
No, Blu-ray is the new DVD... HD-DVD was the new laserdisc.
These guys are either idiots or sell outs and if they're sell outs they're still idiots because most people see right through their strategy to get more site hits.
Looks equal. Game is a really cool concept except it can cause nausia pretty easily and is sometimes difficult to see what you're doing. I prefer this as a 3rd person perspective.
XBox fanboys hate installs so I'm sure none of them will boast about this feature.
Doh!, That means you have to have HDMI right?
Japanese marketing is a bit disturbing to me. Do Japanese people really like this?
In 2008 the PS3 has outsold the 360 and now it's doing it at $100 higher price point.
A lot of people who want a 360 with online need wireless which puts the 360 at $399, same as the PS3. It's no wonder there sales are so simular. Of course the 360 has had the online hype machine going for ages. I'm about sick of disconnecting when playing online games (can we say Madden?) on the 360 with my _wired_ Falcon elite.
I rarely play my Wii but my 5 year old plays it often. I did play through Galaxy, World of Goo and a couple of other games.
I think non-gaming families who bought it probably don't play it often but that by no means equates to a failure.
Wow, that sites crap.
Not a bug just poor design.
"The servers have been up for a day, and already things are going wrong."
Um, yeah. That's when 99% of online games have problems. Nice slant...
It's crashed on me once and the graphics are very glitchy with pop ups, some mild screen tears and some wierd distorted patterns. For all the hype surrounding this game it is very good but I think a 9 is a stretch. It's just unfortunate there aren't more of this type of game.
The need an undo function, would make creation a lot easier.
Incredbile game. Favorite for this gen so far.
so lame, they'd never do that to Walmart cuz they'd get the finger.
Wow, the idocracy of this article. It basically says, "because the media says BRD sucks, it does".
When did the media start creating news rather than reporting it?
