World of Goo is a great game but no where near as good as LBP. Braid wasn't a sleeper, it had the crap marketed out of it and where is Valkyria Chronicles?

I'll try out no more heroes for sure, thanks for the advice Danja. As someone else mentioned, the PS3 is also better for sports now. The multiplatform games are about equal plus it has Hot Shots Golf (best golf game IMO) and MLB: The Show.
My Elite locked up just when navigating the menus.
I installed Madden. It doesn't seem any faster but at least it's quiet.

Here's my take. I haven't played them all and I'm sure Gears 2 is probably excellent (although I thought Gears 1 was just "good").
In terms of exclusvies my house prefers PS3, Wii, then 360 for 2008. I do play the 360 a lot for multiplatform games though.

haha, I think it's easy to, PS3 obviously had better exclusives from an objective viewpoint. PS3 always scores lower than it's games are worth and it still beat the 360.
I think visually it's mostly pretty cool except when you hit the XBox button and you get this ugly gray window. It terms of functionality it's ok, not a huge step forward and in some cases a step backwards.
It's also locked up once and feels slower. I've never had a console simply lock up in a menu.
Ok usually I'm all over MS for the RROD but in this case I suspect some BS. My guess is the same amount of people are getting the RROD and simply blaming NXE since it's the only thing that's changed and want to blame something.

This is funny. I retroactive review for the XBox 360 lol... I remember when there were 360 vs. PS3 comparisons constantly. Once the PS3 came into it's own they suddenly stopped...
I am excited about NXE though. I dislike the current dashboard.
Another interesting thing. I noticed 360 owners I know tend to be replublican significantly more than not where as PS3 owners seem to be a more even mix (leaning a tad toward Democrat but the whole county is).
I'm not picking sides but I find a lot of 360 fanboyz just don't know a whole lot about the PS3. Even if they own one. I guess it's like putting a Mac in front of a PC user. It's just different so they don't like it.
I own all three and my preference is: PS3, 360 and then Wii in that order. I do like GeoW better than Resistance but I actually liked Uncharted much more than GeoW.
There's a lot of 360 owners that are really missing out. I suspect with the PS3 gets cheaper they'll be more open to giving it a chance. The 360 seems to attract gamers that care specifically about gaming and no so much the other features the consoles offer. I like it all but do prefer PS3 games thus far...

At some point it's the parents fault. Kids are still morons at 15 and playing a game 24 hours straight is the sign of addiction. The logical argument here is that the parents can and should limit such activities if they're responsible parents.
Imagine the detox this kids going to go through assuming his dad asks him to stop playing.
