Maybe if you have your box in a entertainment center that is boxed in. A laptop cooler is a much better solution. Although any of them will put off a little bit of noise. You do get what you pay for though.
Promising killer pc performance then dumping the pc version is not cool at all. Gaming started on pc, it should end on pc.
It's hard to play on the 360 with it's 720p, @ 30fps and 5.1 when I can have 1080p@60+fps, and 7.1 lossless HD audio...
Not to mention the incredible textures, 8xAA, and other features that pc gamers get to enjoy.
Maybe you don't notice the difference in quality there, but I do. If there is a chance of this making it to Pc I won't touch it with my 360.

Maybe not prison, maybe some huge fines. The gamer designers work hard to push out quality work. Those of us who respect that and pay for games pick up the bill for these petty "modders".

I put about 6 hours into it, and just couldn't dig it. But then again, I didn't like Oblivion either. Just not my kind of game I guess.
I didn't expect it. The combat is great. I'm fairly excited. I'll pick it up on my pc.

Anyway, competition is good. I still feel blu ray prices are too high. Even if it doesn't make it over here, the competition will keep Sony on their toes, and hopefully bring down disk prices. Player prices are coming down nicely.
but I have a 4890 and I'm loooooving it. MSI version. The new Cyclone edition is out, which has over 1ghz clock speed. Crazy.

the soc versions are the best performing cards out of the factory (they test them thoroughly for performance and stability. They are the same chip, and same heatsink, but they don't all come out the same in the manufacturing.

I do disagree that it's broken. Not perfect by any means, but it's still a ton of fun. My favorite multiplayer game right now. They have really worked hard to patch it up, and it's helped. The new maps rock too.

The first time I played warzone and realized I didn't respawn, at least until the next round, made me far more cautious than any other game.
