All GTA games are massively hyped, and there will always be disappointment from some, but personally I loved GTA4.
Personally I hated Rage, but most people I talk to seem to enjoy it. It just annoyed me from start to finish.
My first gaming system was a NES when I was 8 years old. Back then then they would often make games really hard so you wouldn't finish them straight away. Many times they got it completely wrong and you had a game that was so hard it was not fun at all. So hard it was just unfair. If the game was easy you could often finish it in 2-3 hours. There were no free games. There were no demos. You couldn't check gameplay online beforehand.
In 1990 tetris was £49.99
'Secret' - Which they have been talking about non-stop since before launch. Not knocking the tech but it has never been a secret.
Well in a game where even people on your own team are competing against you, rather than working together, who is surprised?
It just seems like such a bad idea. It won't put them a step ahead, it will put them a step behind when the next round of consoles comes.
@astil420 Everyone can have a try but no one ever seems to hit you unless you're standing still. Just constantly hearing the sounds of bullets missing. It's pathetic. As soon as I get sniped, I switch classes and snipe them back because they are so easy to hit. It's a joke. They just stand still on the top of the buildings getting about 10-11 kills in the entire round.
I just hate it when I'm on a team against a tank ripping the crap out of everyone and no one seems to care about getting rid of it. All you need are 2 engies with RPGs and that tank is history, but everyone sits on a building and tries to snipe.
Anyone else just come on N4g to read about games and not care about any kind of console war?
have a good one!
Did they make the blood green, replace the guns with walkie talkies and blur out any naughty finger gestures?
I'm just looking at the numbers here (vgchartz) and it says:
23.8m for PS4 and
13.1m for Xbox One
So I'm going to project a resounding NO.
By the time Xbox One reaches 23m the PS4 will have double that.
Really getting tired of this victim culture.
Too many downvotes for this. I agree in some respects. If a game has a story then I should be able to at least control the story rather than run from one cutscene to the next. If I am in control of the characters then I should determine the outcome. If the outcome is always then same then why incorporate game elements at all?
People complained about Fallout 3 visuals when it came out. It didn't ruin anything.
Please keep Buzzfeed style clickbait titles off here. It pains me to see them. I like to think N4G readers are a bit smarter than that.

People sure make some pointless comments. This is a fan-made experiment. It looks amazing to see Mario in these different environments. Obviously they are just tests to see how things could look. I'm really impressed by these Unreal Mario 64 vids and I look forward to whatever comes out of this - as long as Nintendo don't sue the guy and take it down.
What is 'fan-made' referring to in the title? A whole team worked on this. A team of fans? Fans of what? The engine? Confusing title.
By the time it was out, the game had been pretty much un-hyped by months of downgrade speculation, skeptical rumours and dissappointed preview reports. It still felt like a let down though, even though we were prepared for it to be. Personally though, I still had fun with it.
