Everyone is acting like we won the war over piracy. But we didn't, hackers will still have 100 games in their library, heck they can even update their games and use the browser, they just got kicked of the online multiplayer.

Some say that the PS3 hackers got screwed with PSN baning but they already knew it was going to happen (like on every other console). Their intention was playing offline pirated games. They have completely hacked PS3 with homebrew stuff, heck they can even update their games, use the browser, they just got kicked off the online multiplayer. Whatever some may say, the pirates have scored on this generation as well.
You do realize that hackers can still download and play any game, they just can't access online multiplayer. Heck they can even update games, go on the internet...
It's actually a +1 for the hackers this gen. Hackers knew that they wouldn't be able to go online on PSN and XBL.

Yeah but don't forget that hackers are not stupid. Lots of them are using apps that fakes the log that goes to Sony (last game played and other stuff).
Yeah and than Sony would get sued. Sony is not allowed to deliver justice by bricking consoles. The law can deal with pirates, Sony can only block them from PSN.
What's your point? It's year of the tablets as well. Even though handheld consoles outsell home consoles they barely affect their sales.
I think Guild Wars 2 will a lot better than SWTOR judging by the gameplay videos. Not to mention there is no monthly fee.

I am canceling my WoW subscription when this comes out. I saw a couple of gameplay videos, and I was impressed. I already played Guild Wars 1, it was good, but this will take it to a whole other level.

I don't have my ps3 hacked, but I believe pirates can't cheat on any game online except Black Ops (which is also not related to pirating, but to hacks that can be used by everyone who has their ps3 hacked).
