A lot of the so called better games on the 360 are in question with me. As I have both the 360 and PS3, quite a few of those games run and look better on the PS3..ie COD4 just to name one. Not one of my PS3 games look washed out like any of those PS3 vs 360 screen shots. Its all down to how your TV is set up and RGB is set to full.
I've got a rumble controller and as for achievements, well I stopped caring about getting shiney things for my good work when I left pre-school.

As time goes on, I do find I play games less and less, only played games for 2 hours total this week so far..lol
As for dying in games more than young un's, well not always true. I nearly always come in the top 3 in games like COD4.
I don't think it has much to do with age, but more to do with the time you have left to play games as ...
I hoped that when GTA IV came out for the PS3 it wouldn't have that “Vaseline Effect”, but after what I saw of it running on a PS3 display in Curry's (Northants, UK) 2 days ago is that it has it big time, looked washed out and blurry as hell :(
I will wait to see the 360's version before knowing which one to get.

I was in my local currys store (Northants, UK) and they had this game running on a display PS3 with the empty game box sitting next to it.
I did think about running off with it, but they had an alarm over the disc slot..lol
Please don't tell me those screenshots are the finished product!!
If they are, then the PS3 and 360 should be able to run this game at a min 60fps, damn even a Wii could run this game :(
Sorry but I was hoping this GTA to spark an interest for me. I thought maybe the graphics would be awesome and take away from the boring blowing things up, killing people and generally the samey missions throughout the game as like all the other GTA's
OT alittle here.
I just got one of my 360's back on friday, it was a launch one, but RROD 3 weeks ago. Anyway, turned it on Sunday morning and I got a single red light (botton right corner). I unplugged everything, including the HDD, reconnected and turned it on and still get that red light. Even tried it without the HDD and it still does it.
Ok, no fanboy remarks please, but what does the single red light bottom right corner mean?

I remember waiting nearly a year after I got my first 360 before the great games came out for it. Sony had great games at it launch.

Europe is a massive market, way bigger than the American one. Yes more people live in America than any single country in Europe, but if you just add Great Britain, Germany and France together they out weight America, let alone adding all the European counties together.
IMO, I can't see the PS3 version being better than the 360's.
What I've read everywhere is that the lead version was done on the 360 and we all know what happens when its done that way around.

You right Mart, the 360 is cheaper, but and its a big but, Europeans love GT series games a whole lot, so they will be looking at which console plays both GTA and GT.
Looking at the sales in UK alone, pre orders for GTA IV on the PS3 is far outselling the Xbox360 version, Plus the PS3/GT5p pack is selling like hot cakes.
On another note, If you buy the cheaper Xbox360 you can't even get the DLC, no HDD!!!!
If this games a casual gamers choice then they are more likely to buy a PS3 because of its Blu-Ray capability. So when they are only playing the odd game now and again, they will watch movies during the other times.
You don't live in the UK then, because I haven't seen one advert saying about it yet.
Oh on another note, my Son who works in 'Game' in my local town, told me the PS3 version is outselling the Xbox360 version 17-1 at the minute in his store, plus he said PS3 sales have gone through the roof because his customers want one for this game and GT5, most of which are PS2 owners.
So it doesn't look like Microsoft could convert alot of PS2 owners to buy their 360.

Yeah COD4 on the PS3 was broken in multi player when it first come out, but now it totally rocks.
I have COD4 for both the 360 and PS3 (Have friends on both), I would rather play it on lag free PSN anytime. Damn, sometimes its so laggy on Live it feels broken.
