Good luck with the 360 getting MGS4, what with the gimped DVD drive.
Ok, I've stayed out of this sh*t long enough.
<<<< See this Car over here? Yes it's mine, Nissan Skyline GTR34. Started life as a standard RB26 engine but got rebuilt last year with a 2.7 litre (620hp), bigger turbo's and god knows on the suspension and handling. I've had it for 4 years now, race it some weekends at Rockingham (England).
My point to all this sh*t is, I've played the GT5P game and Grid demo and guess what? The physics of Grid is way f...
At least Sigma was a solid 60fps at 1080P
What I don't get is, why can the PS3 pull off a solid 60fps at 1080p in NGS and NG2 can't do a steady 30fps???
Whats the screen rez for NG2?
@ LenHart
More hype for the game? Please don't make me laugh. I haven't seen one billboard or Game shop advertising MGS4 yet, while I seen lots of GTA4 months before release.
My son, who works in 'Game' here in the UK told me there is hardly any call for MGS4 yet, just the odd one or two., the complete opposite that could be said for GTA4.
I, for one, won't be getting this game due to it being too long in the tooth now. It's about time the games...
@TheMart
Is that why Oblivion was 720P on the PS3 and 600P on the 360? Plus better draw distance, textures and less popins go to the PS3 and this game was a port from the 360..
Can't wait to see what Bioshock on the PS3 looks like ;)
Wow the PS3 is less than 18 months old (just over 1 year old in Europe) and has already caught up the 3 year old 360 in the graphics department. Can wait to see what the PS3 graphics are like when it reaches 3 years old.
<...
LenHart just STFU please...You are an embarrassment to all PS3 owners.
99% of the time you just talk sh*t and lies
Yeah like when Oblivion was a port for the PS3, not only did it have better load times, textures and draw distance, it was also HD (720P) on the PS3 and sub HD on the 360.
Edit lol at the disagrees. It's a well known fact that the 360 version of Oblivion is only running at 600P
Hardcore gamers support all platforms, only fanboys support just one.
@ Mr Marbles
GOW is far more tactical? What like run a bit, hide behind something and shoot...Then repeat.
Gow is one of the most linear games I've ever played and the AI was totally scripted.
PS3 = More games 720P and over
360 = More games 720P and under
This is a little off topic isn't it?
The first Skate was 4xAA on the PS3 and 2xAA on the 360.
Don't believe me? Go to Beyond3d.
Edit, yes I do agree with the framerates. Maybe if they made the PS3 version 2xAA the same as the 360 version, the framerates would have been better.
woot, my home town too Hellsvacancy
PP, your not 18, so you shouldn't even be playing games like this.
Sorry Mart, you are a complete idiot.
There are more native 1080P games for the PS3 than there will ever be for the 360. What I've heard the 360 can't even do 1080P natively.
Edit: oops this should have been in the open zone, just like Marts post should have been.
While I do agree with you on Crysis couldn't run on a console very well, but I do disagree with your statement:
"ps3 has only 2*256 ram which is not as good as 360 1*512"
The PS3 has 3.2ghz 256mb of main memory and 700 mhz 256mb of dedicated graphics ram, while the 360 shares all its slower 700mhz ram between the CPU and GPU.
Lets look at this if these were PC's. Would a game run better on a PC with shared memory (low end PC or Laptop) or dedic...
Looks fantastic, first day buy for me.
Cool Varsarus, I never knew that. Oh, yes I do have a PS3 matey.
PSN: gispeedos
Wow mesh1, you had a cheek to call me a fanboy. What the hell are you doing in here? At least I have both a PS3 and 360 (well 4 360's actually).
