Quick question about Pure
Haven't played the demo yet, so what vehicles are in Pure?
Going by the screen shots, the only vehicle I've seen is a quad bike.
Isn't both Sony and Samsung TV's made by the same company, because they both use the same production lines

Talking crap again. Quite a few sites said the PS3 version of UT3 was sharper and faster and I have to agree, since I have both versions.

This looks awesome, but I hope the game play is not as linear as the first one.
silvacrest, I have tried a few of the no cap ISP's, but found them way slower than the one I have. Yes most of them say they are giving you 8mbs connection, but found the most I could get from them is around 2-4 mbs, as the servers they run are over run with people.
So its a toss up between having a full 8mbs connection with a cap or no cap but getting lots of lag or slower downloads.
We in the UK have always had Caps, the average is 30gig here.
When I see people saying it will effect online gaming it makes me laugh. One of my sons plays WOW for a min of 4 hours a day and another plays on both PSN and Live for around the same time. It doesn't effect online gaming, but it does effect movie and music downloads.
This is why I think DD for movies will never work.
Damn, they need to get a life then. The most I spend gaming is around 4 hours a week and that's with owning all the consoles.

True gamers will have both consoles and buy both games.
Yes I agree that the first Gears was awesome looking and the second Gears will still be a first day buy for me.
But I'd still rather have a game with a great story and game play like Resistance, than a linear, run, hide behind something, shoot and then repeat game like Gears, plus it has no real story to it.
Gears is great for a mindless shoot em up, that I play when I'm bored.

PS3 CPU and main CPU memory is still more advanced than a high PC's, while the 360 is using cut down low to mid range PC parts, damn even my 4 year old PC is way more advanced than a 360.
Also, hows that low spec DVD drive working out for you???

With a game like Gears of war 2 being so linear, you would have thought the graphics would have been good.

Yup, I really enjoyed the full HD version of Oblivion on my PS3, not like your 600p 360 version.
