Not only is TR the unoriginal game, Uncharted has become far superior in every regard.
I remember having to slog my way through TR 2013, and it took me over a year to finally finish it because it was one of the most boring and poorly executed games I’ve ever played. I still decided to give Rise a chance when it finally came to PS4, and I’m only a few hours in after almost 2 years of owning it because i found it even more boring and dry than 2013. Maybe I’ll finish it someday, but I can’t for the life of me being myself to feel any hype about this one.
Well thank god Playstation exists, because the industry would’ve been completely screwed back in the 90’s.
“Nintendo the most humble company”
Where in the hell have you been? Like what dimension did you come from?
With God of War, Ni No Kuni 2, SotC, and Detroit, Sony’s already off to a good start for sure. Considering we’re getting a new WWS title release date soon, that’s another AAA exclusive to release along with Spider Man. It’s likely Dreams, which would make for a pretty solid lineup for the year.
Smash is an excellent casual fighter when you have friends to play with. I clocked in god knows how many hours into SSB and SSBM. SSB Wii U just wasn’t a good enough game imo; couldn’t play it passed beating a single run of arcade mode with Kirby. Hopefully the new game is its own unique title and not another port. Give it single joycon support and I’ll have a blast with it.
God of War is already a GotY contender. Spider Man might be as well.
“Sony is still selling off the fact that MS flopped...”
No, just no lol
Either way, launching exclusively on a the less successful console first certainly hasn’t helped their player counts.
H1Z1 Beta on PS4 = 4.5 million players in 3 days
PUBG Early Access on Xbone = 6 million players in 3 months.
You do the math.
Name one multiplat that has sold better on Xbone over PS4 this gen, with the exception of the first PvZ GW
Because Fortnite is free, on top of being the more fun and better optimized game. Maybe if Bluehole spent less time trying to monopolize a genre, and more time developing, they’d gain back some favor.
On a side note, take notes from pretty every successful MP title this gen: put the damn game on PS4 and your player counts will skyrocket. PSN is the most popular console network for online multiplayer by a huge margin. Any third party dev that doesn’t put a multiplayer game ...
We’re in the age of dedicated gaming phones now. Who could’ve seen this coming?
With a bunch of Wii U ports? Riiight..
Haven’t even turned on my Switch in months
It’s Nintendo’s first ever “handheld” that holds Nintendo’s current standard for console graphics, ie Nintendo’s current top tier work is releasing on it instead of a partner console.
@No-way I wouldn’t call it ridiculous. He’s simply weighing out his options and determining which game will suit his interests more. Personally, I’d be a lot more interested in BFV too if it wasn’t trying to use WW2 to cash in with more SJW-propoganda. That’s just a garbage message. Plus, it’s not like BFV’s SP campaign will be worth a damn; BF hasn’t had a really good campaign since BC2. BF1’s War Stories were crap.
So basically what they’re saying is they can only release quarter-assed games at a premium price, under the premise that the game will get better over time through updates and DLC? And what’s the guarantee that users who buy in will receive that support, if the game sells poorly and loses its player base like SoT? This is why people don’t trust GaaS. It’s one thing to have a solid core game, and then add DLC that expands and compliments the experience, but promises like this are almost never ...
PSVR is a complementary way to enjoy certain games in a different way on PS4. Its not there to alienate PS4 users and make them feel like they have to own one to enjoy their console. The way Xbox has handled marketing for the X and S has been the opposite story.
True, but it was still taken with a grain a of salt, and it didn’t reveal that the blades would have such a huge role.
That’s the nature of the beast, unfortunately. You pretty much have to avoid the internet for the couple leading up to any major game launch.
Well my main point is that PS4 and PSN are an excellent platform for multiplayer-focused games, so long as the game is worth a damn. If Bluehole puts some real effort forward and releases it on PS4, the dwindling PC numbers won’t really matter.
